Publisher's summary

How much is too much to love?

Travis Maddox learned two things from his mother before she died: Love hard. Fight harder.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.

Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times best seller Beautiful Disaster, Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.

A Must Read Book!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Trevor was my favorite character. I loved following him and how he discovered his feelings for Abby and how he dealt with the confusions of his life.

What about Dan Bittner’s performance did you like?

Dan Bittner bought the characters to life. I felt like I was going through life with them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The Epilogue was excellent. Loved reading about how life turned out for Travis and Pigeon.

Any additional comments?

Can't wait for the next book from this awesome writer.

HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Walking Disaster to be better than the print version?

I think you get something diffferent with audio.. It really is all about the narrator and the characters being believable.

What does Dan Bittner bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voice of Travis is everything I could have ever wanted. Travis is hot and steamy.. I melted as I listen to this book.. It is clearly 5 stars.. Thank you Dan Bittner you did a great job as the voice of Travis.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did not want to turn it off.. it was a consistant 11 hours of Travis

very disappointed

The first time I read beautiful disaster l feel in love with this book. And I read it 8or 9 times I love the way the person read the book. And I could hardly wait till this book came out. I was very disappointed by the person reading it. It made the Travis curator sound so wimpy. It took away the Travis image I had. Very upsetting!!!!! I hated it so much I had to stop reading it for a couple of hours/ day's. I wonder if Jamie McGuire actually wrote this book because there is a lot of conflicting story's in this book.... I hated the middle of this book...... the very beginning and the end of this book was awesome.

Loved it

I loved everything except the narrators impression of the girls voices. Kinda made me cringe.

Beautiful

This story is just as amazing as when I read Abby Abernathy's side of the story.
Having first read Beautiful Disaster I fell in love with the characters and story. After learning their was another side of the story told from Travis Maddox's view I knew I had to get it. I was lucky enough to find it on audible and be able to get it as my first free book. The narration was amazing, I loved Dan Bittner's performance as well as his voice. It was very relaxing to listen too and made the experience very enjoyable. Even more so than I was expecting it to already be.
I can't wait to read her other works and would definitely recommend this book to people who not only liked Beautiful Disaster, but to also those that like a thrilling and captivating story.
