Great 2nd book in the series.
This story was a little slower with plot resolutions (the whys) not exactly clear until the end, but it was good. And the hint of events to come in future books are just teasing enough to make you want the next books.
The world building is very interesting and doesn't take up half of either book. Instead, the author builds as the story goes. I really like that. The different types of psy and their abilities open lots of potential for some great future story telling.
You do have to enjoy very alpha male dominance in areas of the female mate's life. I understand with the psy they were conditioned all their lives with no emotion allowed but there are moments when I thought "think for yourself!" The female mates are a little more "fragile" then I like. However, the stories and narration are so good that I'm overlooking that. And hey, that's just my opinion anyway.
I do enjoy the series overall (so far) and will continue with next books.

This world is so complicated. I am glad there are so many books so I can read longer.

Love the Jaguar!
The Alpha was nice, the Jaguar is nicer! Great book 2 in the Series. There is a lot to look forward to and Nalini does a great job of planting those seeds that more excitement, more unravelling, more loving is coming. I hope that the Publisher's Summary is hiding some of whats going to happen because I can't wait to find out about Faiths father and the broken sentinal!!
But on to book 3....Brenna and Judd?!?! Oh my gosh, can't wait!

Interesting storyline
The reader is great, and the storyline is interesting but a bit intricate at times. I got lost a couple of times. Still a great series.

great story
great concept series. so many ways the plot could turn. keeps your attention on what might happen. don't like the red head model on cover. she looks so plastic surgeried ... disturbing and couldn't reconcile her with the character and voice in the story.
