I didn't hear the lisp.
I didn't hear the lisp other reviewers are talking about. The only complaint I have about the narrator is I wish she made more of a difference in the 4 main women characters. It was hard to tell who was speaking. Other than that though, I really enjoyed the narration. I'm glad I didn't let the negative reviews keep me from listening to this book. The story is classic Nora Roberts so it's excellent--of course. Really enjoyed this book & look forward to reading/listening the the rest of the serire.

Another favorite by Nora Roberts
I really didn't want this series to end. Each of the 'brides' were women I would like to keep as best friends. Their different personalities/quirks complemented each other and were a perfect fit. All four books were fantastic with no offensive sex and little offensive language. I have all this series in books, on my kindle and in Audible. The narration really brought the characters to life and added much depth to the storyline. I miss this style from Nora Roberts and wish that she would write another series. This series and the Boonesboro are my favorite in her true romance

Narrator made me shudder
What a disappointment. The narrator made me cringe. I couldn’t finish listening to the book. Went to the Library and read it instead. What a waste of money. Narrators can make or ruin a book. This one was ruined. Don’t get this one!!

When you just want to read about a romance this is a perfect book. You really connect with the characters. You are able to image you actually in the scene with the characters!

Fantastic book-Awful Narration.
Love Nora Roberts. Love just about anything that she's done. This narrator is absolutely awful. Listening is like nails down a chalkboard. I'm really thankful that the next books in the series are narrated by someone else.
