When Anna Williams lands a spot on the Vacation Bride reality show, she's hoping to give her sick father a break from the Milwaukee winter, not win a rich husband. Which is good, because the hunky maintenance man whose broad shoulders and clear blue eyes have caught her attention is neither rich nor part of the contest, is he?
Chris Andersen was a disinherited resort brat until his uncle's family crashed their private helicopter during an argument over money. Now Chris is a secret billionaire, determined to make the Paradise Resort a success on its own. To pay for improvements, he's hosting his cousin's Internet reality series, Vacation Bride, a show where women compete to win a rich husband. The women are silly and the show's a lot of work, but the publicity seems worth it. At least until Chris finds out he may be entering the contest himself as first prize.

Books give a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything. - Plato
I found this laid back romance to be a breath of fresh air. Just the right amount of drama and romance between two down to earth characters.
The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life. It was easy to tell who was talking. The story concludes with a HEA. No cliffhangers!!!

Blessed mother of three beautiful children... Loving wife.....One day at a time...a smile on my face with a positive attitude....
The story was an instant "MUST READ" and from the moment i started listening to it i never wanted to stop listening... I hated pausing it... I was like "Darn it.. i must go do something else...but what is going to happen next"
I loved how...even though the two main characters each had a secret...they were able to work through it...they... saw both sides of the situation...
I think this is a first for me...she's an excellent story teller
So many... I loved the kids sleepover... I loved how main man (Chris) was ..even though he was a billionaire...sort of... he just wanted to be a normal guy ... i loved how the main female (Anna) took her dad with her on the contest... for a vacation for him ...there were so many spots in the story that made a moment for me...
5 stars to the author... it was an amazing story... keep them coming... this is definitely a great and awesome read for those who love cute and yet passionate romances
Chris, the male lead, inherits the family fortune and his cousin approaches him with the
idea of the reality show.
He reluctantly goes along with the idea.
Anna, the female lead, has a friend who signed her up for the show and she is chosen.
From that moment, the competition is a bit humorous with several women willing to just
about anything to win.
Overall, a well written enjoyable read.
Emily Beresford did well with the narration.

What is not to like? Pretty girl taking care of ailing father gets a chance to go to the tropics from Midwest to recover. Said girl meets a down to earth guy who just happens to be a secret billionaire in hiding from his inheritance. Just a short sweet little story nothing grand or horrific happens. No f bomb every other sentence. No, detailed drawn out sex scenes to steam up your reading glasses. Just a sweet story around the crazy reality show that gets her a place on the island. Narrator was good you could easily tell who was speaking and not for the different characters. Enjoyed a lazy afternoon painting while I listened.
I got this book via audiobook boom. This was one of those feel good books that help you believe that love conquers all. The humor was very well done and I am sad that Ryan did not get his HEA but he will I am sure. that is the nature of an author. No character left behind. The narration was well done.
Avid listener while doing everything from chasing after my toddler to running errands. Fan of all Romance, PRN & fantasy, mystery thrillers.
The challenges, and the sweetness between the main characters.
Chris was so great. He was noble and bit grouchy and loving and sweet.
She was spot on, and really showcases each characters personality with her performance.
Island of the brides
I loved how each characters personalities shown through. It was sweet and had some vulnerability and quirky moments. It was entertaining and the reality show aspect brought something different to the way they fall for each other. I received this audiobook from audiobook boom for free for my unbiased review.

I love to listen to audiobooks while spinning and knitting.
It drew me in right from the start. Was the perfect pace; I liked that it was quick moving and the story line wasn't dragged out.
Most of the characters were likeable and those that weren't supposed to be weren't all that villianous and didn't get their way for long.
No one scene sticks out as my favorite but I was pleased that it kept a quick, happy pace with no long drama playing out.
Yes. I didn't but looked forward to getting back to it when I could.

"Feel - good escapism"
Listening to this book was fascinating. Chris and Anna met and felt an instant connection. Then the reality show got in the way of their budding relationship. Then it appeared sorted and their romance seemed to be moving along in the right direction, at the right pace. Then something upset the balance again and so on. It was alot like watching a yo-yo going up and down, only with interesting twists.
I liked the characters and found them well suited. The reality show added an element of humour and friction to the story. The HEA was quite satisfying. Overall it was a lovely bit of escapism in a tropical setting, perhaps perfect to inspire a reader to think warm thoughts on a cold winter's day.
