Publisher's summary

When vampires go on vacation....

Escaping a horrible marriage, Carolyn Connor has no desire to think about men - a vow she's determined to keep while on vacation in St. Lucia. She'll take the Caribbean sun and sea and plenty of tropical drinks with those cute umbrellas poolside, thank you. She absolutely does not need male company, no matter how tan and rock-hard his body may be.

Easy enough, but then Carolyn meets the charming Marguerite Argeneau, who is infamous among her family for her matchmaking prowess.

Christian Notte has well known the power of finding a life mate. He's seen enough of his Argeneau relatives taken down for the count, but he never imagined he'd let himself fall in love - until he meets the enthralling, charmingly skittish, and oh-so-mortal Carolyn. But how will he reveal what he is and still convince this once-bitten mortal to trust him with her heart - and her forever?

one of my favorite storylines

I love how the author keeps you on your toes about how everybody is fighting their life mates. there's never a dull moment in the argeneau bloodline. I have no problem completing the story and the narrator was awesome like always.

Very fun read!

Where does Under a Vampire Moon rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the top books I listened to.

What did you like best about this story?

It was like listening to a stereo type Italian family in the way they want to "help" our hero get his woman. It will make you laugh, cry, and feel like you want to jump in and help too.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Christen sister tells him that she set him up with the woman he is destin to be with by tell her he is gay and though she is 20 years his senior there is nothing to worry about. She can just be a friend to hang out with.....

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I have no idea.... Vamps meet Italians with an New York twist to it.

Any additional comments?

It is a great read for anyone who wants a lot of love and laughs, and yes even a few tears.

My favorite so far

Let me start with these books aren't for everyone. There are some inconsistencies between the books, but these are paranormal and a great escape. I absolutely love the interaction with the family in this one. It's great to see the bond of the family and how they are there for each other. Marguerite is so loving and such a spitfire in her own way. She's not outwardly aggressive but everyone knows not to cross her. If you're looking for an escape with a HEA(happily ever after) this is the series to try.

I want more!

Lynsay Sands is a very talented author and has long been one of my favorites. This story is an easy read/listen filled with sexy scenes, jealousy, mixed signals and and even suspense. She was able to pull it off brilliantly. On the downside, I wish that she included an actual ending in her newest books. When she first started this series the books all ended with a traditional "happily ever after feel" so the books were able to stand alone. However, she now leaves us hanging. I'm assuming that the rest of the story will be in the next book, sort of disappointing. The story is a fun one and I do recommend it but I think that the first book in the series come together at the end best.

My thoughts on the latest Argeneau novel.

Would you listen to Under a Vampire Moon again? Why?

Yes. It had some laughs. I think that the "villian" was a little predictable though.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Julian had a great part in the novel.

What does Kirby Heyborne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I don't do the voices, but I appreciate being able to listen while reviewing my computer work.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed in the bathroom scene, and also the cousin worried about people thinking he is gay.

Any additional comments?

Although I recommend this book, I would recommend the earlier books in this series more.
