Would you listen to Trading Christmas again? Why?

It was a lovely fluffy book for the holidays. Occupied my mind while working on Christmas gifts. Much better story an the Hallmark movie of the same piece.

If you could sum up Trading Christmas in three words, what would they be?

    intriguing refreshing nostalgic

Which character – as performed by Renee Raudman – was your favorite?

did not have fav as they are all integral. you start out with one person not being as important and they turn out to be critical.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

good to do while doing housework, etc

    "Christmas with a Laugh"

This may possibly bet the funniest, most unique Christmas story that I’ve ever read. Macomber throws her cast of characters into some very unique situations that you can’t help but laugh at. She creates an inescapable world for her readers to revel in. Macomber’s descriptions and narrative are so vivid that you cannot help but picture everything. At the same time everything remains realistic and in the moment.

Macomber’s brilliant cast carries this story forward without a hitch. Getting to know these characters was a uniquely thought provoking time. As a reader you get to know the main characters and the supporting cast alike. I quite enjoyed getting to know them.

Overall this was a captivatingly hilarious read that I’d definitely recommend.

    "fun read"

I was looking for something lighthearted and fun to read during the crazy chaos of Christmas time to relieve stress. This was a fun and enjoyable book for that. It is a fun story of a comedy of errors that lead to romance. I enjoyed it!

    "Outstanding Christmas Story!"

My advice is to NOT watch the movie on TV. Listen to the book because the movie is depressing at times and the book is uplifting and funny. So much was left out or altered in the movie. My husband kept telling me that it's written according to the book not the acutal events in the book. Too bad because I was looking for the events and they never came. This Christmas I will listen to it again and forget the movie. Thanks Debbie Macomber for the heartwarming Christmas story.

"Not bad for what it is"

I was looking for a sweet, mindless listen that had something to do with Christmas and a happy ending. This fit the bill nicely. The narration is fine, the story is fine.

    "Fun Holiday Listen"

This was a particularly fun listen for me as I am familiar with Leavenworth, WA. Being set in that Christmas town setting sets the holiday tone for this fun romance. This multifaceted story juggles friends and family relationships as well as newly discovered romance. I appreciate that the language is appropriate for anyone to hear and the romantic scenes are loving, but tame enough that no one will be offended by their content Moms can listen to this story in the kitchen while cooking Christmas goodies or can listen to this in this the car between shopping malls without concern for what the little ones will hear as they overhear this story. The story encompasses all someone will want in a romantic Christmas story that brings the cozy warmth of family and friends together.

    "Excellent Christmas Read!"
Would you consider the audio edition of Trading Christmas to be better than the print version?

I've read the print version as well as listened to the audio and loved them both!

What about Renee Raudman’s performance did you like?

Renee did an excellent job of bringing each character to life with their own personality. Honestly, I don't know how they do this and make the read sound so seamless and natural.

    Any additional comments?

I thought it was a fabulous book that's sure to put every Scrooge in a festive mood.
