Danger waits on both sides of the grave…
Half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her vampire husband, Bones, have fought for their lives, as well as for their relationship. But just when they’ve triumphed over the latest battle, Cat’s new and unexpected abilities threaten to upset a long-standing balance.
With the mysterious disappearance of vampires, rumors abound that a species war is brewing. A zealot is inciting tensions between the vampires and ghouls, and if these two powerful groups clash, innocent mortals could become collateral damage. Now Cat and Bones are forced to seek help from a dangerous “ally”—the ghoul queen of New Orleans herself. But the price of her assistance may prove more treacherous than even the threat of a supernatural war—to say nothing of the repercussions Cat never imagined.

“Cat and Bones are combustible together.” (Charlaine Harris, number-one New York Times best-selling author)
The narrator for this series is absolutely one of the most entertaining readers I have ever experienced. I loved each and every book. The author writes great books and Tavia Gilbert is an excellent narrator.
the whole novel was fantastic
when her uncle died
This is a MUST READ series
The scene with The Voodoo Queen (beginning and ending ones)
Too many to count
She is just overall fantastic - she should never want for a job!
No clue :-)
I realize some relationships have their ups and downs but for Cat and Bones, I found myself in this one saying come on. Enough is enough. I mean really don’t these two deserve a break. Which I suppose that is what J Frost wants us to feel? Frustration and exhilaration. Again if you enjoy this couple and all the characters in their world then this is another good installment.
The over all atmosphere of the book which shows cat is growing up and growing into her relationship with bones
Chapter 21 wow
Bones I love this guy so much
The most powerful love scene I have every heard
I love how the characters from other books came togethe to salve this crime.
Tavia maybe one of my favorite readers.
This book is so much fun.
Books are my addiction when it comes to "ME" time, you can usually find me under a warm fuzzy blanket with my Audible App engaged!
I loved the parts where Cat interacts with Maria in New Orleans.
The most memorable parts of the book is where Cat and Bones renew their dedication to each other.
She brings the action to life with her narration.
When one of the most important people in Cat's life dies.
STORIES ARE VERY GOOD
I LIKE HOW SHE DOES THE FEMALE BUT HATE HOW SHE DOES BONES VOICE
What can I say that I have not already said...I love these books and the narrator!!! Sometimes the narrator can make or break a listen and Gilbert absolutely makes these characters come to life!!!
