Publisher's summary

The Manor, the very place where their passionate love affair began, fills with guests on what should be the happiest day of Ava and Jesse's lives. She has accepted that she'll never tame the fierceness in Jesse - and she doesn't want to. Their love is profound, their connection powerful, but just when she thinks that she's finally gotten beneath his guarded exterior, more questions arise, leading Ava to believe that Jesse Ward may not be the man she thinks he is.

He knows too well how to take her to a place beyond ecstasy...but will he also drive her to the brink of despair? It's time for this man to confess.

Best trilogy ever!

Any additional comments?

I've never done a written review on any books, but felt I had to on this trilogy. Wow! to be loved and to love like Jessie and Eva - incredible - what a journey, what a ride, I will miss these two in my life, I felt so close to them, never wanted it to end, I laughed, I cried, was frustrated, and thought with the length of each of these books surely there would be parts that would drag - well there weren't. Absolutely by far the best I've heard in audio and the narrator was fantastic. The sex between these two was off the charts - smoking hot, loved every, 3, 2, 1, zero of it. I will definitely check out and see if Ms. Malpas has any other audios available.

Crazy couple!

Narrator Review:
Excellent narration! I highly recommend!

Story Review:
What a freakin' train wreck this book was. I'm not sure I even have the words to express. If you managed to get through book one and wanted to continue, then you already know this couple is messed up. I admit, it was more messed up than I was expecting.

I listened to the audio version and I had to keep stopping and walk away to calm down. This book was so frustrating and I can't tell you how many times I wanted to shake the both of them. There were so many times Ava needed to stand up to Jesse and demand answers and draw a line.

The constant women showing up was ridiculous. The author overdid this, in my opinion. I'm sorry but no man can be that good, in every way that every single woman falls in love with him. I hate it when authors do this. Just once I want to find a book where the woman has every man fawning over the woman and the Hero has to deal with it.

I'm sure this won't be a popular opinion but I don't even blame Jesse all that much. He's been a playboy for 20 years, having complete access to all kinds of women at his sex club. He's never been in a relationship and has no clue what one is. He needs a strong woman to rein him in and show him how she wants to be treated. He's so completely in love with Ava, he just doesn't see any other woman as a threat. That is the one thing the author expressed without a doubt and truly saved this book for me. If she hadn't expressed that, I think I would have chucked this series out the window.

Jesse did trample and bulldoze his way, no doubt about it, but Ava was not left without her own weapons. And Sara. Man am I tired of Sara. Finally towards the end Ava started to grow a backbone and I did a little victory dance when she put Sara firmly in place. It was a little too late if you ask me, but still necessary. I loved that last scene and felt like finally we are getting somewhere. I look forward to book 3.

What a wild ride!

I don't know if I can honestly recommend anyone to listen to this book/trilogy...what am I kidding this book was great but emotionally it will rip you apart. Be WARNED!!!

With that said.. this review is going to be brief because I wouldn't want to give away any of the spoilers. Its about a wealthy sex club owner and the woman he meets who is not from his world. These two go through a hell of a lot from book one to the end of this trilogy. It takes a lot of ups and downs to get to the HEA ending but I'm sure happy that it gets there. When the book was over I felt like I needed more but also I felt like thank god its over because it was the most emotional roller coaster ride a book has ever put me through.

Sorry its so brief but anything else would spoil this book my suggestion get it for yourself.

Toxic perfection |Watch your mouth

When an immature passive aggressive spoiled brat meets bi-polar possessive whoreman you get this delightful tale of toxic dysfunctional HEA. Both Ward & Ava haven’t really emotionally matured beyond teenagers with addictive personalities and insecurities with a healthy dose of crazy. Chemistry is hot, drama is non stop
and throw in alcohol and villains. Well, just an entertaining dark romance madness. They are thoughtless, crazy, selfish, entitled and COdependent with baggage and oh, of course sex-crazied. The people surrounding them are equally nuts, complicated, and dubious in loyalty but you manage to like them or just shake your head. Everyone is always in everyone else business while their own life is a hot mess. I rooted for them because they are soulmates: even if they were toxic. I thought of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. A train wreck but the power of attraction too insane to not see it to its completion.

Okay I love a difficult man but he is hurtful!

Would you listen to This Man Confessed again? Why?

NO. It was too hard to see her be so weak.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It seems like every time he screws her over she just comes right back. I was angry, she really needed to lay down the law with the cheating. No girl with any respect would put up with the women. I little more reaction from her would have made my bad reaction better.

I need more

Would you consider the audio edition of This Man Confessed to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the printed version so I don't know

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jesse.... I love a man who has that take charge vibe but knows when to back off.

Have you listened to any of Edita Brychta’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I really don't pay attention to who the voice is unless they put me to sleep.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, it had me crying, laughing and wanting to just be there. I really loved this book. Was sad to see it end.
