Accused of a horrific murder she didn't commit, former heiress Callie Ward has been a fugitive since she was 16 - until she found the perfect hideout, Club Dominion. The only problem is that she's fallen for the club's master, Mitchell Thorpe, who keeps her at arm's length. Little does she know that his reasons for not getting involved have everything to do with his wounded heart...and his consuming desire for her. Enter Sean Kirkpatrick, a Dom who's recently come to Dominion and taken a pointed interest in Callie.
Hoping to make Thorpe jealous, she submits to Sean one shuddering sigh at a time. It isn't long before she realizes she's falling for him too. But the tender lover who's seducing her body and slowly earning her trust isn't who he claims to be. When emotions collide and truths are exposed, Sean is willing to risk all to keep Callie from slipping through his fingers. But he's not the only man looking to stake a claim. Now Callie is torn between Sean and Thorpe, and though she's unsure whom she can trust, she'll have to surrender her body and soul to both - if she wants to elude a killer.

Will do anything for books!
Okie Dokie...here we go...if you are looking at book 8 I assume you've listened to books 1-7. If so, you know what to expect, hot sex, lots of it, a not so plausible story-line (who cares) pretty good character development and did I say HOT??? Yes, in deed that is true. I found this story to actually have some amount more meat than some of the previous, not all, but some were more sex less story. This one definitely had a great mix of both but had a good story line that was interesting and fast paced.
This was a good story. The narrator was fine. I will have to admit I rated it lower because of my experiences with two of the characters mentioned in the other books. Mainly Callies character has been portrayed in other books as sassy and hard to handle. Don't feel we got any of that here. Plus they kept mentioning how hard to handle she use to be. I know the storyline was more serious but just could not get into her.
My biggest disappointment was that our club owner Thorpe was not the main character - it would have been better suited to be focused around his story.
I'm another one of those listeners who may return this audio, knowing I will not listen too it again.
I think anyone who's familiar with Shayla Black's awesome erotic romances and reads in the title 'Theirs' then it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that it's about a steamy, hot ménage. But don't underestimate her writing skills because around the erotica she weaves a tense plot involving a Fugitive, a Dom and an undercover FBI Agent.
Callie has been on the run for years and is hiding out in Thorpe's Dominion Sex Club where she meets Sean who's undercover but loves the life of being Callie's Dom more. However, when Callie feels threatened once again she runs but Thorpe and Sean won't let their little sub go that easy because they love her, have faith in her, want to protect her and have lots and lots of hot sex with her.
A Faberge egg filled with secrets, bad guys, mystery, suspense, BDSM, submission, passion, romance, secrets, sex and handsome Alpha heroes are all part of the ingredients contained within this tasty tale but it's the emotional pull that these characters have for each other and their total understanding and acceptance of each other that makes this such a pleasurable and emotional listen. Sean's a sexy, gentle, thoughtful lover and Thorpe's got baggage but he's protective, sexy and darkly sensual and Callie.... well she's one lucky girl 'cause she gets to keep em both.
Worth a credit? Two loveable testosterone filled heroes, intrigue, drama, danger, romance, heartache, a climactic ending and lots of smokin hot sex.... errr that would be a pulse pounding YES YES YES.

Plot: Thorpe, sex club owner takes in teen runaway Callie and gives her a safe place to live and eventually a job. Years later, Callie is in love with Thorpe who thinks she's too young for him. Callie goes for another Dom (Sean) to get Thorpe jealous, but falls in love with him too.
Callie was a great character - funny, spunky, smart and caring; I wanted her to find love and have a great life. However, I found the violence and exhibitionism of the sex club a strange & creepy setting for a love story. To me, hitting, whipping, dominating and humiliating women is criminal behavior, not foreplay.
Shayla Black is an incredibly talented writer; she creates engrossing characters and uses humor well. In another setting and without the BDSM crap, I would have enjoyed this novel.
I like the change of attitudes. and the mystery threw me for a loop. It was a good book
Yes I would. I like the narrator and the author, but this book just wasn't up to par.
Not sure. the story didn't do anything for me
Yes she is a good narrator.
I don;t know
I hope the next book is better
Narrater was very good
The whole story was heartbreaking & heartwarming at the same time
The last scene
I don't know, but this was a beautiful love triangle
If only real life worked this way....that all could have a happy ever after
I love to read and listen to erotica all types and paranormal vamps and shifters
I loved this book I love reading Shayla Black and this series and I am so glad that this book was better than the last one. I loved Callie's spunk and her sassy mouth. Mitchell Thorpe, owner of Dominion, was introduced to us in previous Wicked Lover books. He was the hard intense Dom who never took anything from anyone. His word was law in Dominion, and he did take shit from anyone he hit all the right buttons for me. He was always a mystery. A mystery that always had you thinking in the back of your mind, "what is his deal?" Thorpe was always the man in the background, a gorgeous man who was unreachable, unattached, and always in control. A past relationship killed his spirit, and now he doesn't believe he is good enough, tender enough to care for the one woman that he's wanted by his side since the first time he laid eyes on her. Sean Kirkpatrick, the newest Dom in town, has his sights set on the sub that Thorpe has sworn to protect. He's collared her, made her his, but there is more to him. He is a mystery himself. Sean has secrets, secrets that could destroy his future with his "lovely." In most ways, Sean is the opposite of Thorpe. Sean is tender, more gentle. He is not at all afraid to share his feelings with the woman he loves. Callie's devastating past has prevented her from being truly happy. She wants nothing more than to stay in one place and give her all to her Sir, but something is holding her back.
The best part was seeing these two men gently warm up to one another, especially with such strong personalities. The love that they share for Callie is so incredibly beautiful, and the fact that they can put aside their feelings, step outside of their comfort zone and just be what she needs is, is my definition of the perfect Dom. I was so glad that this book was better than the last one and that this series is back on track for me and I can't wait until the next one.

In the previous books, Calli was a background character. The transition to her being the main character didn't flow. It was just too much of an information dump to learn all about her past right off the bat. The rest of the story was more or less okay.
The narrator was HORRIBLE! I know a lot of people didn't like the previous narrator, Lexi Maynard, but Veronica was torture.
Oh, we'll........I might have to return this one.
