an excellent book choice
I was hesitant due to the number of low ratings, but I also so glad I spent the credit and time to listen to this master piece! I am a huge fan of Deborah Harkens and other witching stories so my expectations were fairly high for this story. I think there were slow parts in the beginning, but I really didn't mind-after all, to create and immerse yourself in a made up world, you have to be willing to invest the time to learn about it. I fell in love with the slow, low grade romance, and constantly evolving heroine. I am definitely looking forward to the next in the series!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book
This is one of those books that takes you by surprise over and again. It was entertaining and at times had me sitting at the edge of my seat for one reason or another. It came with my audible romance package, but it’s a book that I would have also been happy to buy.
