Publisher's summary

Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out - with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except, apparently, Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro....

As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to be - except for in her love life. Her only interaction with the opposite sex has been sparring with the infuriating Ryder, who always seems to get under her skin. Still, no one can deny the electricity that crackles between them…a spark that ignited with a New Year’s Eve kiss.

While the inn is running smoothly, thanks to Hope’s experience and unerring instincts, her big-city past is about to make an unwelcome - and embarrassing - appearance. Seeing Hope vulnerable stirs up Ryder’s emotions and makes him realize that while Hope may not be perfect, she just might be perfect for him…

Makes me want to go to the Inn.

Would you listen to The Perfect Hope again? Why?

No.

Who was your favorite character and why?

This question is difficult to answer for this book. This book focus' on two characters but the other books focus on different characters. They are all good.

Which character – as performed by MacLeod Andrews – was your favorite?

All of them.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me happy, and I cried.

Any additional comments?

The trilogy was predictable. But still worth a listen.

Tough to pick a favorite in this trilogy!

I love these books and just recently discovered from Nora Roberts' website that Inn Boonsboro is a real place. I know where I'm going on my next vacation! If only there was an available Montgomery brother left!

Enjoyed this series very much

Nora has done it yet again. I truly enjoyed this triology, even more after I went on line and found the real B&B and had a look at the rooms!! Wesley&Buttercup is just enchanting. I had high hopes, no pun intended, for this last entery because Ryder was my fav brother. He reminded me a little of Simon from Search yum yum. I was not disappointed. Then of course I rarely am with Nora. MacLeod Andrews is one of my favorite male narraters, I find male narraters harder to listen to at times but M. Andrews does a superb job and is easy and smooth.

Heart Warming, Breath Taking, Tear Jerking, GREAT!

Where does The Perfect Hope rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

five out of five!

What did you like best about this story?

Everything!

Which character – as performed by MacLeod Andrews – was your favorite?

Lizzy

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, when Rider dreamt about Billy, how he loved Lizzy, made me really believe love has lost its true meaning in today's life, and made me value and cherish it more!

Any additional comments?

Nora Roberts did an absolutely wonderful job with this series. I loved all the books in the trilogy but loved this one more. Five stars to you Nora, and I'll definitely be getting more of your audiobooks. :)

I enjoyed the whole series. I hated to see it end.
Well written Nora Roberts. The town & family seemed so real.

great story, as always, narrator, not so much.

Would you listen to The Perfect Hope again? Why?

The story, yes, Andrews, no. His voice is always so pinched, he doesn't sound comfortable at all speaking as different characters. Was sometimes confused with who was speaking until I picked it up from the context.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Even though the story was good and I wanted to hear what happened next, I found myself feeling irritated with his rendition.
