Her sisters have found wedded bliss with their wealthy, wonderful dream men, but not Julietta Conte. She's stayed on terra firma as top executive of the family's corporation, La Dolce Famiglia bakery. Work is her passion, and her trendy Milan apartment her sanctuary...until Sawyer Wells, a masculine masterpiece in a suit, lures her out of hiding with an irresistible offer: an exclusive partnership with his international chain of boutique hotels.
Julietta's been burned before - and trusting her brother-in-law's friend, whose powerful gaze alone has her rethinking the best use of a conference room, is the riskiest proposition. But with a once-in-a-career chance to take the bakery global, will she mix stone-cold business with red-hot seduction?

Wow - #2 and 3 in this series are devoted to exasperating and unlikely female characters. I only read this one to get to the fourth, and well, the hot scenes are well done.
Best one of the series! Well developed characters and story.
Having said that, I felt the more intimate scenes were too drawn out and unrealistic. No one's nipples cut like razor through their lace bra. Lol. I don't think those were the author's exact words but there were many descriptions like this that had me rolling my eyes and hitting the fast-forward button. I like some intimacy and even sex in my love stories but it needs to be believable. This wasn't a major hindrance in my enjoyment but it did happen several times throughout the book.
I enjoyed several of the pop-culture references. That made the story feel relevant and modern.
The narrator's voice was believable and enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend but make sure you go in prepared to squirm a little during some of the steamier scenes.
All the books in the series was great . Could not put it down , very great book , Juliette should have been pregnant , that is the only thing missing
No spoilers! Love HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. I also review in exchange for books-lots of fun surprises!
This is a great fantasy, escape. Mama Conte is at it again-ready to know and do what is best for her daughter.
I liked that this delved into a darker past for Sawyer and Wolfe. It may be too much if you are used to Jennifer Probst's more light hearted (fun/silly) work in the previous Marriage Series books.
Use the 'O' word a lot less! It seemed to be the focal point when there was SO much more to explore.
Also, some minor timeline points...she mentions Sawyer's childhood and he (as a child) compares situation to Harry Potter. VERY minor points...
Unique, good & varied (although near the end Maggie started sounding like the men)!
Yes, but 2 sessions and getting NOTHING else done was how I did it.
NOTE: More graphic and descriptive than her previous books. Some sex and depictions of child abuse.
All of her books are on the top of my listen list (with LOVE UNSCRIPTED etc..)
This was the best in the series for me.... I LOVED Marriage Bargain but wish MM had Narrated it also... I love how there is strong family values and suport.... Its funny and romantic and the sex is well done..... ITS A MUST BUY!!!! or credit ;)~
I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
I think because I have the other 3 book in this series I felt that everything that happen in the book I expected it to happen. I just knew it was coming. I really wasn't surprised. I was a bit exhausted that it took so long for some events to happen. Zesh! It was good though.. Narration was great too... but Zesh...
