Best in the series
Best one of the series! Well developed characters and story.
Having said that, I felt the more intimate scenes were too drawn out and unrealistic. No one's nipples cut like razor through their lace bra. Lol. I don't think those were the author's exact words but there were many descriptions like this that had me rolling my eyes and hitting the fast-forward button. I like some intimacy and even sex in my love stories but it needs to be believable. This wasn't a major hindrance in my enjoyment but it did happen several times throughout the book.
I enjoyed several of the pop-culture references. That made the story feel relevant and modern.
The narrator's voice was believable and enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend but make sure you go in prepared to squirm a little during some of the steamier scenes.

Wow - #2 and 3 in this series are devoted to exasperating and unlikely female characters. I only read this one to get to the fourth, and well, the hot scenes are well done.
