Got to love every little detail

This book is a good listen if you like *every little detail*and loads of feelings described. I enjoyed the book enough to purchase the next in this series. It has lot's of Hot sex scenes that are described deeply enough to make one imagine they are right there actually participating as the main lead lady. Wow - Hot Stuff. I found the story bought back a lot of bad and good memories for me so kept me listening and wan'ting more. Well done Bella Andre, you got my attention. A plus side is the Narrator, Eva Kaminsky, she does and excellent job. :)

It was typical, but nice

There are no words of WOW to be had...this book is exactly what you think it is, no surprises. The characters were likable, even if a bit unbelievable. This book took the notion of lust at first sight to love at first sight, which was very farfetched, but kind of sweet. Typical idea, strong man finds strong woman who doubts herself and is having issues…he helps her discover her inner strength and she is able to overcome her problems by being strong. It was kind of refreshing that he “allowed” her to do it herself instead of stepping in all alpha and fixing everything for her…but…I don’t know it kept my interest, but at the same time not sure if I’ll be getting book two.

I got this for $4.95, and it was well worth it….not sure I would have spent a credit on it because it was a bit too vanilla in both the romance and the action department for my taste, but it was nice.

Nothing Special, Easy Sweet Love Story

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Sure, this is a book to read to hear a sweet boy meets girl story. Nothing life changing or no profound change in your after reading. An easy sweet read. Good for a vacation.

What did you like best about this story?

Who can resist a love story? It was a sweet love story. Dont' we all want to be swept off of our feet by a wonderful man. This is a Calgon Take Me Away book.

Could you see The Look of Love being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

It could be. I have already downloaded the 2nd book, because I want to know more about The Sullivans.

I wanted to like this audio

but there was too much sex and not enough story. I think the story could have been enjoyable if there had been more depth to the characters and the listener had gotten to know them better. Also, the reader sounded like she was trying to sound sexy, while I like a narrator who becomes the characters.

No, because there are more books in the series and I am sure I will read more about Chase and Chloe. I very rarley re-read books. There are always new books to read

Not a big fan of turing books into movies. Books are books and movies should be movies

A beautiful love story!

Would you listen to The Look of Love again? Why?

I would listen to this book again and I would recommend it too. It is a very sweet love story. The Characters and Story Lines kept me engaged throughout the entire story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Chase was my favorite character. He truly loved Chloe.

What does Eva Kaminsky bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Eva Kaminsky is an awesome narrator. I am so glad that she narrates the entire series.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I would love to have listened to this book in just one sitting.

I am currently listening (AudioBooks) to Book 7. I love this series. It is one of my favorites.

Steamy with Little Plot

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If there was more to the story than sexy scenes. Lots of steamy stuff which is great when it's set against an interesting storyline

What was most disappointing about Bella Andre’s story?

No real action or plot until the end of the book.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I liked the narrator. Her voice was pleasant and clear and I could tell who was speaking when.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Three quarters of the way through I started feeling impatient with the lack of a developing story. I see that the author has written a series around this family and I was looking forward to getting to know them, as one can when reading Lisa Kleypas or Nora Roberts. The writing is not of the same caliber. Not sure I'll try the second one in the Sullivan series.

Short & Sweet!

Great start to sweet & fun series! This was a good "fluffy" kind of read, with a lot of steam too! The characters were very likable. The Narrator was ok, not my favorite but good enough to make me finish this in one sitting. Worth the credit if you like a sweet romance.

I knight in shining armor is every or most girls dream. There is actually people like this just everyone is wondering where they are!

When Marcus held the baby for the lady to take pictures.

Worth the credit and more. It is nice to have a feel good story that doesn't spend half the book with bad attitudes or something bad happening. I like stories like this every once in awhile.
