Love books, preferably romance and suspense. Typically read/listen to 3-5 a week.
This was a short book but I found it quite entertaining. This book was about life, and family. I was also surprised to find this book was part of a series "the Strong Family". The main two characters were believable, the older woman and younger man. The only things that could have been unbelievable is that a man as young as Kaleb had such strong family values and knew what he wanted out of life. This made the book very refreshing for me. The book stand on its own. You will want to read the others as I did after reading this one to find out about the other wives and what transpired before this story.
The characters could have been more developed but you get the jest of what is going on. The book goes far beyond a woman not allowing a new man in her life after being hurt by her husband after he walks out on her for a younger women.
The book thoroughly entertained me. When I find myself, laughing, worried about what's going to happen next, then the book has served it's purpose. After I finished this book I looked for other books about the Strong family as well as by this author. I found "Give Me Fever" which is the book before this one and the Strong sister story will be out soon. I can't wait. I hope it's on audible. I found the story of the Strong family and the dynamics of family values and moral standards refreshing. This book is not a boring book, just short. It has Sex, and lots of drama. If you are looking to slow down from the hustle of the day this will fit the bill for you.
It's in my top ten
I can't compare it to a book, but a can compare it to a movie,,,Of course, you know what that is How Stella got her groove back,,,,,,,,,
My favorite scene was the wedding/labor scene...Oooops don't want to give away spoilers.
It I say what it was, I would definately give away spoilers,,,,Great read,,you want be disappointed.
I love Nobia Bryant books.
No, at least not right away.... maybe in a couple of years when I have forgotten a lot of the story.
This story line supported May-December relationships. It particularly showed strong support for the man to follow his heart. An older woman can be just as hot and attractive as a younger woman.
I did not have one favorite... I liked both main characters, Zaria and Kaleb.
No, I could not listen to it in one sitting... I take breaks regularly and think about what I've listened to so far.
It you don't like...change it!
We all heard this story before yet this was not that picture perfect scene like in the movies...this is how it really goes down in really life.
When she realize how much really loves him and excepts the fact that there is nothing wrong with trying it again.
It's no surprise how I feel about this author and as always I'm never disappointed with anything Niobia Bryant does. I'm a forever fan of here work, regardless the name she chooses to write under.
Well, sad to say that my husband couldn't handle my inner bad girl. He did something very stupid, and we are no longer together.
I didn't read the printed version of this book.
It was when the main women finally opened her eyes. She knew that she loved her younger man.
She has a very nice voice. It was easy to listen to, could put you to sleep.
Yes, if I could have. I just didn't have that much time to give at one time.
I will be looking forward to listening to her again.
a fresh take on a love story
the boy friend
i cant say because it will give away the story
i did listen to it in one sitting :)
I've been an avid reader since I was a child. I love different types of writing styles and I am never afraid to try new authors.
I really enjoyed this book. The Strong family values were very apparent and it was great to see this couple go through struggles and come out on top.
Hawg 4 reading
Yes, It just was a good book to me and I have already told my friends to get it.
Maybe pleasure seekers by rochelle alers. The reason why I said that was because it just ended pretty good and it had some positive things going on. This was more real life to me too. I could understand and feel the characters all had some issues but this was on the positive side of life.
Shari Peele was very good and I like her characters. She made the characters come to life and they all had their own voice.
I laughed more but most of all I smiled alot. I love the family bond in this book.
