I totally agree with the one comment about how the narrator has juicy mouth. It totally grossed me out every time he swallow his spits. It's soooo gross!! Over all, the story was great! He had a good voice. I loved it all BUT I can hear him everytime he swallow a mouth of of his saliva!! Ewwwww... So gross.

Because of this series, Gena Showalter is a must read for me. Damaged alpha males, romantic story lines, humor and lots of action. I am a happy listener.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It depends on the friend. There are some "earthy" scenes. (wink) The title overall was very well done and I have listened to Lords of the Underworld from the beginning. This was one of the better ones not that they aren't all good. I hate to say that the books on the Keeper of Pain and Keeper of Secrets were disturbing and not in a fun way. I would recommend it because it was a very satisfying chapter in the series.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the way conflict was created. It sparked my imagination and was not too frustrating. The characters were strong and it felt believable. The story of Paris has been long awaited by me and it was not disappointing. One of my favorite books in this series was Gideon's story and this one was even better. The story had the continuation of some of the recurring plot lines and I wonder how she is going to get them out of those fixes. The reunion of the 'family' was very well done. I loved the ending!

What about Max Bellmore’s performance did you like?

He is the voice of the Lords. He has a signature style that complements the series and is very talented. He makes the tale believable and adds suspense, tension and humor.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me snicker when I see the teasing. I love a sense of fun when the subject can be dark and you need some comic relief.

If you are a fan of the Lords of the Underworld this is one you need if you are stranded on a deserted island.

Finally

Love worth the wait. When you find that special one you know. To brave hell to have her back is what makes it legendary.

Max Ballmore is wonderful at doing the characters and bringing them to life, the emotions as well

Yes he is one of my favorite narrators.

Any additional comments?

It is an erotic para normal novel series, and this is the first book of the series. I like urban fantasy, and this covers it pretty good. The erotica also is pretty heavy so if you're not looking for that then pass this series by. It will only get more intense as each book progresses. I did enjoy the story and have continued through the entire series.Also there is some very intense and graphic depictions of torture. Each book has something along those lines. After all were dealing with demons.

Best book in series so far, don't want to ruin it for other fans but the end.... didn't see that coming! Great job, Gena, can't wait for the next book to come out.

liked them all, he has been the voice of all the Lords of the Underworld books and he's fantastic

When you are the keeper of the demon of Promiscuity everyone and everything falls at your feet but when Paris met Sienna no one could compare. After several books of longing and searching for her they are finally together again. Their pasts though keep them both from truly letting go and letting love in. Seducing Sienna is the hardest thing Paris has ever had to do and fighting for and keeping her heart, well that he will die for.

Sienna is no longer the timid woman she was. Now she knows that not everything or everyone is as they seem. No one exemplifies that more than Paris. Memories of him kept her as sane as she could be during her captivity and now she will do anything to save him and his friends.

Their path to romance is anything but expected and the journey will leave you breathless.

Goodness Gracious...I Need A Paris!

I love Paris! I don't know what everyone else is talking about, but this was an excellent book!

We've been waiting for it. The deep longing that Paris has felt for Sienna since their 1st meeting, the journey to their HEA....I loved it and the intensity of it.

Paris, Gideon, and Strider are my guys. Hands down a must read/listen!

I do wish we got to learn even more of Paris's history. And OH MY GOODNESS the BOMBSHELL that Strider mentioned was both... well a bombshell (lol) and a low blow in my opinion.

Wonderfully narrated as well by Max Bellmore and I'm certainly looking forward to more!
