From New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken.
Reid Emory has never had reason to question his luck with the ladies. As the owner of a lethal set of aqua-blue eyes and a devastating grin, this Hollywood heartthrob always brings his A game...but lately his luck seems to have run out. The actor is in need of some help, and there's only one person he can trust to take his love life - and his career - to an explosive new level.
Jordan Litwright's newest client is trying her patience. As a publicist, she's more than content to stay in the background and let others shine. But when a publicity stunt backfires, she suddenly finds herself thrust into the spotlight - as Reid's new love interest. And while other men usually overlook her, Reid is focusing in with laserlike intensity. There's no denying they have serious chemistry.
But once Reid breaks into the big time, can they turn their made-for-the-media romance into a forever love?

I liked everything about this book, I couldn't help but love the main character. Her thoughts always made me laugh. I was never bored which I like even more.
I have not read the books but can easily say that the audio is much better just because the narrators do such a terrific job with the characters and voice inflections. They truly captured the personalities of each character.
I like how the characters from the other "Consequence" books are still involved with the characters of this story. There were so many moments of out loud laughter, even times when I laughed so hard I cried. The characters are funny and the narrators did a great job bringing them to life.
One of my favorite scenes is when the two main characters are talking in the apartment and the brother of the main character (who lives next door and is a huge busy body), calls out to them to speak a little louder because he can't hear them.
Sure, but I rarely can.
I love this series and can't wait until the next one comes out. I know it is going to be as hilarious as the others were, maybe even more because the main character is the guy who always seems to be getting into trouble without even trying (bitten by red ants and discover he's allergic, getting a black eye from being an observer at a ping pong game, etc.) I would have to say that no matter how many times I've listened to the series, I still experience those bouts of laughter throughout the story. The narrators do such a terrific job with each character, esp. when Max comes into the scene.
first chapter I almost quit so glad I didn't. laughed so hard I cried
Narrators were great but I much preferred her doing male voices. the male narrator's rendition of female voices was actually off putting.
overall best time with a book in a long time.
True Guilty Pleasure
I love them all really but Max always wins
I have a strange love for listening to Nick Poedehl although Amy McFadden is awesome too
Just all the humor. I listen to these at work and at times i have to hold a laugh
This series never disappoints. They are hilarious and so off the wall. I cannot wait for the last
I absolutely love this author and have read many of her books.I think this may be the first one that I have not really cared for. It was more hokey and forced then genuinely funny. I just wasn't feeling it.
Laugh out loud funny, cute love story, overall a very entertaining book. Thank you for always making me laugh when I need it. Rachel as always had done it again.
This book started strange. I thought Reid goofy and Jordan was weird. I hated her poor self esteem. It didn't fit with her job. However, Reid and Jordan grew on me. However, the Max character played too much of a role in this book. It felt like the story was about Reid, Jordan and Max. Max was funny at first. However, he became annoying after a while. What was the author thinking with this character? It felt like every time Reid and Jordan were getting close, Max would mess it up. Max was a silly character. His job did not fit his annoying stupid acting personality. The relationship between Reid and Jordan was overshadowed by Max's stupid antics. I was so close to stopping the audio because of Max. All the characters seemed so goofy. They was all too over the top. I did think the narrators did a good job with the silly material they had to work with.
very cute story, amazing job by the two voice actors, this is a definite win for me!!
I don't know how Rachel VanDyken could get any better. seriously I can't believe how much I laughed out loud while listening to this book. keep it up! #hugefan
