Where does The Collector rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
The Collector was not quite as good as some of the others I have read of Nora Roberts.

This is the first book by Nora Roberts I’ve read. After reading 20+ additional books by her it’s still my favorite n I go back to it over n over. I absolutely love the narrator n could listen to her read all of Nora’s work. Her characters r strong smart funny. I’m curious about the male leads. R they based on someone she has experienced? The intimacy n her books become the dream of every woman. Is this based on personal experience? I hope so. Keep writing Nora.

Loves NOT a Faulty Toaster
This was a sale book I neglected to listen to when I first purchased in 2018!!! What a wonderful book from Ms Nora!!! I have so many Books from this author and every so often she writes one that touches your heart via the dialogue and spirit of either the heroine and or the hero. Author does so in this book as both main characters just steal your heart. See Ms Nora’s HIDDEN RICHES and MIDNIGHT BAYOU for more of this type of wonderful dialogue ms Nora can write.
I shamefully have to say I did not listen due to the narrator! So of course NOW I am a huge fan, and have listened to a few books of Ms Whelan narrations in a row. She brings this book to brilliant life and you are not rushing to finish as you want to savor each chapter. This will enter my library of classic re listens. I do use 1.2 speed to match the adventure. Give it a try.

Great story, wonderful performance.
This was exciting & riveting. Lots of action and plot. Several sex scenes I fast forwarded through. They weren’t excessive or that raunchy, I just can’t listen to them for some reason on audible.

Another fabulous tale!
Loved the characters, the mystery, the profession of the female character being a writer!
Won't go into more than that or else it will spoil it for others.
These characters flowed around each other nicely! The twists and turns, greed, evil, hate, immorality, life choices and more culminate to the very end.
Very nicely written and narrated!
Truly enjoyable story!
