This is the story that doesn't leave you feeling frustrated. a good and easy read. I love it when the characters are not too perfect. Both male and female leads are very consistent and maintain their identities well through out the story. i hate it when the characters develop way too much that by the time i finished the book i barely register where i started.

Funny. It had me cracking up in the middle of last night. I finished this in one day. I barely paused for meals.

Such a refreshing change from the same old story line, boy meets girl, girl plays hard to get, boy is a self made millionaire! I was reluctant w this book, but soo glad I got it! Funny, sarcastic humor yet a plot! Thank you!

What did you love best about The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires?

Believe it or not the so called "snark" other reviewers, doesn't compare to Tavia Gilberts readings. I liked GG's character best.

What did you like best about this story?

Iris' knowledge of Botany. It put an interesting twist on the poison.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Amanda Ronconi?

She is not one of my favorite narrators.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did laugh in a few parts of the ending. The love scenes left me thinking, did they just do it? I'd hear her thinking about her past lovemaking session and think "how did I miss that?" So I had to rewind and find the kiss or whatever.

If you like her you will LOVE Tavia Gilbert reading the Bones and Cat novels.

I would recommend this book because it is light, funny and I thought the main character was really well written.

I don't have any other titles I would really compare it with.

I have not listened to any other performances by this narrator. I thought she did an excellent job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were lots of funny bits sprinkled throughout the whole book. That made it a really enjoyable listen.

Good fun read

I enjoyed this red. Audible did a 2 for 1 credit deal and I stumbled upon this gem. it's a nice take on vampire work. the mystery was crazy good, I didn't expect the mastermind.
