Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Cal's relationship with his girls is so sweet. Mr. Big and Bad is so cute when he's in protective mode.

A different kind of story

Where does The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was an interesting difference to other type of books I usually go for. But kept my attention.

Just Love Molly!

What did you love best about The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires?

Snarky humor as good as in her Nice Girls series. Since this is a "related" book, I would have expected no less. This book plays off Nice Girls with a character (Iris) that lives in same town, and knows of Jane, the main character of those books. The narration is fabulous as usual by Ronconi. She makes the characters come alive.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires?

When a teenage hunk is hit by a speeding black car, Iris reacts emotionally with care, confusion and compassion.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to the Nice Girls series and it is just as good. Just perfect!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Just laugh out loud and giggles at times. Some touching points, but no crying- it's really not that type of book. I have to say though that I was not a huge fan of Cal. His character was a little hard to believe (for make believe), but little by little he crept into my heart.

Any additional comments?

I would love more from the Hallows/Jane Jameson style sagas.

Amanda Ronconi is an excellent narrator. She definitely brings a smile to my face. Entertaining listen indeed!

Wanted to, but just couldn't, lol

It did what it was supposed to do,..

Its a vampire love story. So it did what it was supposed to do and entertained me. The narration was good.

Great for both my wife and myself

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Absolutely! My wife and I like to listen to audio books in the car as we drive. This is one we both enjoy. The only problem is the passenger does not get a chance to doze.

Ms. Harper has created a very interesting universe which flows together so smoothly it is hard to pick a most memorable moment

I like the scenes where Iris moves through the vampire's homes or offices while they are asleep

More fun than moving

We even recommended it to my wife's daughter

Funny Job

Loved it. Light but with a good story. We have a quirky woman with a very unusual job! She has been born with a kind heart or she never would let a vampire into her home! The vampire needs saving. How can she say no?
The reader is a perfect fit to the heroine. Perky and funny.
I Enjoyed the bit of mystery along with two fighting a love affair.

A Harper a day keeps the doctor away!

Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi are a sinch duo to make me smile and laugh out loud, a lot. When I need cheering up, it seems my first choice is this pair.

That was the case here, when I was transported to Half-Moon Hollow and heard the hillarity begin.

Absolutely! Its a great book that made me laugh nonstop.

Hmm If I had to pick then I would pick GiGi her one liners get me everytime.

Just get it!
