Fun, sexy, entertaining.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would rip any of the Fifty Shades books out of a friend's hand and hand this book to them in its place!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Iris Scanlon is the protagonist and such a fun and interesting character. She's very human, by which I mean she has faults and makes mistakes and still manages to come out on top. She's a believable character.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when her "stray vampire" shows her how sensually intense it can be for the donor when a vampire feeds. You can feel the sensations, the heat, the raw erotic energy of the moment.

I miss Jane :( but really did enjoy Iris and Glad

So Molly Harper can become slightly formulaic (might have made up a word there). First you start with a quirky fun girl, and then add a vampire. You know that the two will meet, there will be fighting, sexual tension, and then love.

Having said that this is my 7th book written by her and I still enjoy them very much. She keeps me interested in the characters and their trouble they get into. I think she came up with a really interesting way to cause trouble in this book. The idea of poisoning the vampire's food chain was interesting.

Most importantly she makes me laugh. There are very few other authors that make me laugh as often as I do with her (Mark Tufo, and R L Naquin are probably the only other ones). The only issue is the scene I laughed the hardest at was with Jane, Andrea, and Jolene. It made me realize just how much I missed Jane's insane personality. Don't get me wrong Iris and her sister have great funny, quirky, snarky, chemistry (reminds me of Gilmore girls). I just wish Molly would make another Jane book is all.

Can't get enough Molly Harper & Amanda Ranconi!!

I am simply in love with all books that Molly Harper has written and Amanda Ranconi narrates! I just discovered this amazing duo a week ago and I can't get enough!! I am on my 7th book in less than 2 weeks. So funny, such great stories, you really can't go wrong!! The spin-offs are so great and you still get to visit will all your favorite characters!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would absolutely recommend this book to a friend, after they read the other books in this series. It's not that you can't follow this without reading the other books, it will just ruin the others in the series for you. If you want a preview to the series with out completely ruining the Jane books listen to Driving Mr Dead.

Fair warning, I did not immediately love Iris like I did Jane. (I have a bit of a girl crush on Jane) but she definitely grew on me! Listen past the first 30 minutes and you will be eating it up!

What other book might you compare The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires to and why?

Pretty much the all the other vampire books by Molly Harper. She writes good paranormal romance novels with a strong female character. One thing that does make her stand out is her humor, she definitely does funny better then many paranormal romance authors.

I love this series. They are funny, well written and the narrator is fabulous. Light hearted, silliness that brings a smile to your face and just enough mystery and suspense to keep you guessing. I can't wait for the next one.

I LOVED it!

What A great listen! The story was perfect and so well written. It kept me interested the whole way through. No lag or slow spots. Amanda Ranconi did a perfect job with the whole book and all the voices. I most definitely recommend this book and I am so excited to continue with the series.

I wasn't expecting much from this book and was happily surprised at the witty dialogue and humor. This was a "What the heck" purchase from the $4.95 book sale and I have been laughing ever since. What a lovely stumble.
