Billionaire Max Hamilton thought he was finally starting to find contentment, more than two years after losing his wife Mia in a tragic drowning accident. He'd been reunited with a sister he hadn't realized existed. Finally he had family again, a reprieve from the pain and loneliness that had haunted him since his devastating loss. Yeah...he was as happy as a man could be, considering he had lost the other half of his soul and most of his heart when fate had torn his wife away from him. Or so he believed...until the day he rescued a mysterious woman in the park, a female who somehow had managed to reignite a part of him that he thought was long dead. Suddenly, Max's protective, dominant, possessive male instincts flared to life, leaving him at a loss as to how lightning could possibly strike twice in one lifetime. Is he truly being given another chance at real happiness, or would it be dangled in front of him, only to be taken away once again?

No. There was no depth. It seemed like the author took a 1st draft and added over the top love scenes.
I thought she had a very interesting story but instead of building a worthy read, the author loaded the story with sex scenes that in my opinion stole from the story.
No. But I thought she read it well and probably was the reason why I was able to get to the end.
Awesomely written book!

No I have not.
When Max found out that Mia was alive.
This is the first time I listened to an audio book and I enjoyed it. I have a printed copy of this book and was able to follow along as the story was told. I really enjoyed the performance of Elizabeth Powers.
Reunited after 2 years apart, the two main protagonists enjoy a lengthy 'pity party' and the occasional bout of sexual intercourse. Most of the book deals with events that have already taken place with the 'real time' action being scarcely more than a hiccup in a rather dull, and quite ridiculous, exposition. I purchased this book based on the author's previous efforts but I suspect she was just fulfilling her contract quota with this lacklustre effort.
This was my least favorite out of the series. Would I recommend that is a yes and a no. If you have kept up with the series then I would say yes go ahead and read/ listen so you can at least said I am up to date with the series. If this is a one and done then no I will not recommend this book. The story was way to unbelievable.
I am done with the story about Max. No need to have another book about him.
Max is the best choice by far.
This is the third installment in the series and is by far the best. There is a good plot line and the characters of Max and Mia are flawed but likeable.
It was a story about a second chance with the H&H. They really didn't know each other before but they are given a second chance to have that really great love that each of them had been looking for with each other.
I love Max. I felt every bit of his pain as he is so broken by Mia's death. His anguish at never being able to hold her or have her in his life. But once he has her back he will do everything he can to make their life together work and keep her safe from the bad guy!
Yes and she did a great job on this one.
Loved this book. It is one of my favorites in this series!
all the stories of this series are so much alike and predictable. Sex episodes are all the same, you just get tired of it…
Elizabeth's voice is perfect it makes it easier for the listener to follow.
Oh that's easy Max all the way although I can't wait to listen to the next instalment as Kade and Travis sound hot!
Is still a very good audible experience she's done another perfect job
Well I couldn't tell without giving spoilers away so I better not but in particular this story was very moving.
