Publisher's summary

Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stones throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumors of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg. Maggie just cant seem to convince Nick to leave... and even worse, she cant convince herself to stay away from him.

Cross-species dating is problem enough for a harried alpha female, but on top of that, a rival group of werewolves is trying to move into the valley. With interpack war threatening, Maggie cant afford to be distracted. Combining romance and a career can be tough for anyone; for a werewolf in love with a human, it may be disastrous.

Light read, no thought needed.

Not a whole lot to say. This is a very light, occasionally amusing, story. The narrator does a good job. My main complaint is that the author uses "phase" continually for the changing of form for the werewolves. I felt like it was a Star Trek episode. It would be nice if she'd used "change" or "shift" sometimes. On the other hand, I liked that their clothes did not shift with them. I also felt like their shift was too easy, but that's just my opinion.

More Snarky Fun in Grundy!

Molly Harper has created a great setting for the Naked Werewolf series. Grundy Alaska and the surrounding valley is a whole lot of fun. There's a lot of great characters and both human and werewolf. Our heroine Maggie is the alpha of the pack, and she doesn't have time for romance, much less time to raise a litter. Nick Thatcher PhD is out to prove the existence of werewolves, and heads up to Grundy to investigate the wolf attacks from How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf.

There's a lot of snark and fun as the two leads interact, flirt, fight and go about their duties, from leading a pack to investigating the proof of wolves. There's some great interaction with Cooper and Mo from the first book. I don't think this book is as strong as book one, mostly because the real trouble doesn't start until the last hour and a half. That doesn't mean it's bad, it's still a lot of fun and has a bunch of real laugh out loud moments.

Amanda Ronconi does her usual great job with the characters and always brings Molly's worlds to light.

We can't wait to get into book 3.

Light and great fun!

Molly is one of my favorite authors. This book was very good, very funny, the characters are loveable too! I didn't think this series was a funny as the Jane Jameson series but it was still very good!

I love Molly Harper!

Molly Harper's books are hilarious. Her characters, especially the females, are smart, funny and snarky. I am anxiously awaiting her next book. Amanda Ronconi is the perfect narrator.

An audio "chick flick"

Where does The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Not the tope of my list at all, but

What did you like best about this story?

Good setting and decent story line. Some fairly well described sex scenes. Most of all NOT another vampire story!

Did Amanda Ronconi do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Generally good, but her default voice for most males of interest was a husky whisper. Better to not try too hard and let the story line and dialogue drive the listener's ear. Trying too hard to sound male is as bad as a male reader trying too hard to sound female for female characters :)

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, but never do. Especially at 8+ hours

Any additional comments?

Good way of extending from the first book - How to flirt with a naked werewolf. (Bought with on the same premise...)

Very Entertaining

Would you consider the audio edition of The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf to be better than the print version?

The audio edition was a much better way to experience the comedic scenes in the story.

Would you be willing to try another book from Molly Harper? Why or why not?

Yes; she has giggle-worthy metaphors and unique situations for her equally unique characters.

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

Her personable demeaner comes through her naration, and she understands the writer's intended sentence flow.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No extreme reactions; although, in the middle of it I couldn't put t down.

Any additional comments?

I hope there are more novels by this author that follow this story into its future.
