really a cute story

Thiis was a really touching story and had some laugh out loud moments. The performance was excellent!
I loved the football connection.

Captivating....

JJ, Phillips, and Danny's story is very captivating. It is not a new theme, but at the same time, very startling. The author keep us guessing about the love interest between the two boys/men, but I sort of knew which one from the beginning. They were both good catches, but one has an edge. This is not a love triangle per se, but it kind of is. It is not off putting though. There is just something about this story that makes it a magnificent romance.

Even though it was Danny who was constantly making out with JJ, she would always talk to Phyllips every night before going to bed. Their relationship was deep. The author also did a good job in not making this story boring. The pace was brisk but steady and I love that. It is also very helpful to take note of the date and timing. Like my title suggests, stories of friends to lovers abound, and in the hands of a good author, always a good read. It was more enjoyable for me because I listened to the audio version. The actor was awesome, did justice to the character of JJ. That's about all I would say. Read it and see.

Love the story and the characters. The buddying romance and wondering who it will be. I can’t wait to hear the rest.

Easy read but chapters run together

Good story line but the chapters run together making it hard to determine a pause in the story

Not what I expected

It was cute and well written but really not what the description makes you think. Also very much an older teen book instead of adult or even YA.

JJ becomes pretty obnoxious the last 30 min and you would think she never got out of HS emotionally.

ugh. disappointing

Reader was very annoying. Kept waiting the main character to act like someone else.

Phenomenal

love love LOVED! it's so good, the layout of the story was great and I loved that it wasn't super predictable.

Narrator makes this a fun read.

This was a cute, love story. Narrator was excellent. My only complaints would be that there was no time between chapters, and the book jumped ahead in time too much. Still an enjoyable read. Worth a credit.

Good book, fast paced unfortunately

I enjoyed the plot of this book and how relatable is to tees and young adults. The narrative was good but a bit too fast-paced to my liking.

I will definitely continue on to the next book in this series!
