Window Rock, Arizona, is the last known location of Honor Roberts, who vanished when she was just 13. It was her only sanctuary from the Breed research that would surely have ended in her death - one such insidious experiment should, indeed, have killed her. That she lived is both a miracle - and a great mystery.
Stygian's mission is to find Honor Roberts, no matter the cost. Now, with the help of Liza Johnson, assistant to the chief of the Navajo Nation, he is closer than ever to his goal. But will the discovery of Honor Roberts mean the destruction of the mating heat that has developed between Stygian and Liza?

It would have been better if the book was shorter. I felt like I was listening to the same chapter over and over.
The book could have been much shorter. I guess the plot after the first chapter
I didn't enjoy the book so it made listening to her performance unpleasant
I would have cut half the book
I don't recoment this one. The book was too long and the heroine unpleasant
Shorten reduce the number of sex scenes and shorten them. One of the things that was interesting about this breeds series was how Lora integrated the steamy sex scenes with an interesting story about the breed. But this story was so drawn out that there is actually no punch to the story at all.
Looking for another strong paranormal romance. Something like JR Wards BDB, Laura Adrains Breeds, Larissa Ione's Horsemens or even Laura Wrights Eternal series.
Nothing really she has a knack for Lora's stories
No I am just hoping Lora will tighten up her writing. Harmony's Way, Lion's Heart or Dawn's Awakening are better stories.
For the most part I would recommend skipping this one in the series
