Warning: One Kiss can lead to another.
Confident and quirky cartoonist Zoe Andreis must put her life on hold and fly back to the States to care for her ailing father. Spending her post-college years traveling and gallivanting all over Europe while rehashing her adventures in comic form, Zoe grapples with the notion of being shackled to one city.
When she encounters Max Kiss, Zoe's true adventures begin. Although Max would love to branch out and take carefree and crazy chances of his own, he too is tied to LA, tending to his aging and deteriorating father. Stirred and enamored by Zoe's zest for life, Max longs for a future full of love and spontaneity.
While they struggle to find balance caring for their parents and living a life of their own, Zoe and Max form a strong and sensual bond. But when the tough challenges surface, Zoe and Max search for a way to have the life they want without feeling the burden of guilt.

I love books!
Love love love this book. I loved that the characters are just like normal people. They love they laugh they fight and the eat really good food. I really liked Steven Barnett as Max. I thought he was perfect and he made me want to ride a bus around LA
This book is OK. The characters are well developed and the dialogue is easy to follow. The author did a good job creating conflict within the story. This is more a novel with some soft-ish sex scenes rather than erotica with a cheesy storyline thrown in. This book would be the perfect poolside companion.
I listened to the audiobook so I did not see the comics or illustrated portions of the story.
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
this is the fourth book, but I didn't read the first 3 and it stood alone well. I thought this was a fabulous book and loved the characters, especially because I'm a bus driver. lol I would recommend this book and would definitely read more from this author.
Too busy to read as much as I'd like, Audible is the perfect solution. I'm a romance reader mostly, but can stray into any story.
I really enjoyed this audio. It was a light and easy listen that got me through a few hours of cleaning. The storyline kept me interested and the narrators did a great job.
I volunteered to listen to this audio in exchange for my review by the narrator, author or publisher.
This audiobook was a fun listen. I liked the main characters and a few of the other characters were very memorable. Zoe and Max had a relationship where in all likelihood there shouldn't have been a relationship. She travels and lives all over the world and Max is very much rooted in one place.. The attraction was there to start with, but the relationship needed something else going for it to make it plausible. They have in common the fact that they are both (temporarily on Zoe's part) taking care of ailing fathers. They each seemed to help the other with that. I loved that Zoe marched to her own drum and that Max was so caring. I also really enjoyed Zoe's father Dominic and his antics.
The story was very light and enjoyable and the narration was excellent. It was definitely worth the time invested to listen to it.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book.
I enjoyed this book but I didn't enjoy the main female character. she was a little to whiney for me. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
I read all kinds of books, but I have an obsession with paranormal and fantasy at the moment. Sorry about any spelling mistakes/typos.
If they like romance books then yes.
I enjoyed the story line, the characters and the interaction between the lead characters really well done.
Yes it did, but the female voices weren't great... and the lead character is female so...
The narration wasn't a detractor from the book but it could have been better.
If I was a movie watcher then yes.
There was a fair bit of interesting cultural information included which I liked.
I have to say I wasn't a fan of the sex scenes, they were a bit... well... choppy. It was like they were described while being censored.
I wish I could give part starts because this was really a 3.5, I enjoyed it and I'm planning to get the earlier books in the series, it just didn't quite make to a 4 in my opinion.
Note: This book was given free in return for an honest review.
