I wish there was just a little more

I have liked most of the novels, in this series. However, the tale always seems to end too soon. I wish there was a longer glimpse into the lives, after the relationship is bonded. It would add so much to the characters, of this series. I admit, as far as I'm concerned, the longer the novel, the better. It would add so much to the story if the reader could see more of the results of the positive impact of a balenced relationship. Maybe we all could learn a little something that we could apply to our own lives. Alas, I guess I'm a romantic at heart.

The story was entertaining, however, and worth a credit.

Can't believe it but each book gets better than the last. Gotta love the Doms of the Shadowlands!!! Wish that I could find one of my own... sigh

Rising above circumstances

I have always thought that Cherise Sinclair is a wonderful writer and this book just further demonstrated that to me. She handles BDSM scenes with a deft hand and I believe them. I love her imagination for those wicked Doms and what they can come up with. The H/h in this story were both likeable. Rainey struggled with self worth issues and Jake had his own issues to overcome. I love that we get to visit with characters from previous stories. Narrator was great.

This was a wonderful story. Love Cherise Sinclair books. Noah just brought the story alive with his reading.
