Good book

Book was good. Not the one to start with if you have not read the other 4. Good overall and sweet.

Would you listen to Safe with Me again? Why?

Yes, I would reread Safe with Me again. I have read it twice & plan on reading it again. The story was so nice and real, but so is the series.

What other book might you compare Safe with Me to and why?

All of the five books are great & worth READ over many times. I really do have a favorite because all of the books follow each other

Have you listened to any of Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't, but that's my next book to look for is one or a series they have done. I thought they were great & made the story line go through all five books. Really enjoyed them.I

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I started out reading book three ( which I hate doing), but I couldn't put it done. It was like that with all of them.

Any additional comments?

Hi have started reading them over because starting with book three left me missing something, so now I have started with one And it is falling better into place.
I hope I can find another series as good as this one. I found myself laughing out loud & then tears would flow down my face. The story about a family with the kids having talent & looks this family had plus the closeness they all had was such a great read.

ENJOYED, ENJOYED, it is a MUST READ & the sex was great as well.

This book leads me to wanting more!

What did you love best about Safe with Me?

I loved the way the relationship grew so effortlessly that the characters didn't see it but everyone else could. This series give every reader the feeling of family. I would love to wish friends, family and love like this to all my fellow reader!

What did you like best about this story?

The ending was wonderful I couldn't help tears of happiness!

Which character – as performed by Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer – was your favorite?

Caleb, he was so complex and both performs brought all the emotions to life for me

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and it did, with the help of my IPhone I didn't have to put it down it was only seven hours too short.

Any additional comments?

I wish there was one more book to tie up some of the loose ends. What happens to Matt? I know with a family that large it would be difficult to cover every one but I've invested so much time and feelings for the families why start with a character and just drop it.
Unless.... Maybe down the road.......

Brynna and Caleb

Brynna returns to Seattle from Chicago after her ex-husband, an undercover cop, is murdered by a drug mob. Caleb, one of the Montgomery boys and a former Navy Seal tells Brynna she is in danger from the Chicago mob. He moves into her and her two young daughter's home to protect them Caleb has been interested in Brynna since she returned from Chicago. He suffers from PTSD and begins to worry he may fail at keeping her and the girls safe or if he is even good enough for them considering his problems. Their love story is bittersweet.

it was a very cute continuation to all the stories that Ive read so far. at the beginning of the story I did feel like I was missing something some kind of small detail I'm not quite sure what I felt like I was missing but it was still good as always Kristen knows how to write! I still love when all of the girls get together I'm always giggling at what they say!!

Book Five in the With Me in Seattle series.

Okay, I'm going to be honest with you, I liked this book BUT it felt like it was lacking a few things. Don't get me wrong, the book has plenty of romance and the characters are well liked, the story is original & well written with a good pace. This is the 5th book in the series but it's the first audible has released. It can be treated as a stand alone but I occasionally felt a bit lost with the other secondary characters. Regardless, it doesn't hinder from story. This book is Brynn & Caleb's story which begins with Brynn being in danger after accidentally seeing the men that murdered her ex-husband. Unfortunately, not being able to provide a description of the suspects means that she doesn't qualify for the witness protection, this forces Brynn to count on the support of her family to keep her and her two twins daughters safe. That’s when Caleb enters, one of the hot bunch of Montgomery brothers and an ex-Navy SEAL, takes charge in his alpha male protective role to ensure that Brynna and her two girls, Maddie and Josie are safe from any threats. Caleb is gruff, fiercely protective of his family, has a dark/slightly tortured side, and hides a heart of gold behind a gruff exterior. It becomes obvious that Brynn & Caleb both want each other & have been wanting each other for a long time. The sexual tension and chemistry between Brynna and Caleb are off the charts. So, when they have to live together in the same house, things start to change and neither of them can really stop it. But soon Caleb's past military wounds become roadblocks in their future happiness. I found parts of this story lacked depth and we got short changed with the danger & suspense. Overall, I liked the story and it met with most of my romance novel requirements: a strong lead heroine, a HOT alpha male, humor and heart warming banter between characters, super hot sex (believe me when I say  there was no shortage of SEX scenes), and of course a happily ever after ending. It would have been nice if Audible had released the other 4 books in the series first.

Good enough

I liked this book better than the last book in the series Rock With Me, but less than the four books before that. I think I'll take a break from this series for awhile. I feel like all the books are kind of running together and I can't remember what happened in what book. Plus the author says the same things through different characters in different books, if that makes any sense. It all feels very repetitive.

Best one yet!

I love this series and family. Great suspense in last chapters... Best one yet!
