Publisher's summary

From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes an all-new small-town series set in Montana, starting with WILD FOR YOU, an Age-Gap, Single Dad, Nanny, Grumpy/Sunshine romance!

Remington Wild is a single dad of two adorable kids, and as the oldest son of the Wild family, has recently taken over the Wild River Ranch from his father. Life is crazy, and he’s finally willing to admit that he needs help, and the sooner the better. He has no idea that the beautiful woman he sees every day at Bitterroot Valley Coffee Co. is the woman who would show up for the job.

Erin Montgomery couldn’t get out of Seattle fast enough. It’s not that she doesn’t love her big, loud family, but living in the big city just wasn’t for her. The minute she stepped foot in Bitterroot Valley, she knew she was home. She loves the slower pace, the friendly people, and her job at the coffee shop. Even the smoking hot grumpy guy who stops in every afternoon can’t put a damper on how much she loves small town life!

Thanks to car trouble, and her stubbornness when it comes to using her trust fund, Erin needs a second job and applies for the position of a part-time nanny. She’s surprised to find that it’s Grumpy himself who answers the door at the ranch, but Erin quickly learns that she loves his kids and the ranch, and it’s a no-brainer to take the job. She just has to remind herself to resist the sexy rancher and keep it strictly professional.

Remington is attracted to his younger nanny, and finds himself falling headfirst in love with her. He and his kids have never been happier, and he knows she is the perfect addition to their family for as long as she’s willing to stay. Hopefully forever. But when secrets are exposed, one of which endangers his children, will their love survive? Or will it tear them apart?

Good Chemistry

Wild for You is a small town, cowboy (owner of a ranch in Montana), single dad, nanny romance. The heroine left Seattle to escape the rich life after a stalker. She meets the hero after working at a local coffee shop before she going to work as the nanny. They have a lot of chemistry, the small town feels are there, and the suspense plot was fine. I did predict it, but I read a lot of romantic suspense. All and all, this was a solid book.

I don't know it was kind of predictable and ended way to quickly

I feel like there should be more to the book then just ending abruptly like that it was a good listen but I needed more of them two and the kids!!

Great Start To A New Series

Age-gap, nanny, single dad tropes wrapped up into one package? Love it. I’m also a sucker for the over-protective male taking care of his woman and I got all that from Wild For You by Kristen Proby.

Remington Wild is a widower with two adorable kids running a Montana ranch and although he has help from his family, he seems to feel he is not doing enough. His parents would like to really retire and have Remington take over even more of the day to day with the ranch and he realizes to do this that he is going to need more help. In steps new to town Erin Montgomery to help out with the kids and their relationship grows from there. I liked the fact that neither of them was rushing into anything and that they were careful to consider how being together might affect Remington’s children.

This is the start of a new series for Kristen Proby and, as with her other books, she builds believable family dynamics, the one that you’re born into, and the family you make for yourself. I loved that Erin, who is far from home, has embraced the town of Bitterroot Valley and the people in it as her own. There is also a little conflict from Erin’s past that brings a small level of suspense and adds another layer to the story. I’m looking forward to more in this series about the Wild’s and the town of Bitterroot Valley.

Excellent narration as always from Sebastian York & Emma Wilder, two of my favorites.

What a great new series

This was a wonderful start to this series. Erin Montgomery wants to live in a small town where she can be herself and not one of the famous Montgomery family from Seattle. Remington Wilder goes into the coffee shop where Erin is working. He's a grumpy person and even Erin can't get him to interact with her. He thinks she's cute & reminds him of the Seven Dwarfs since she goes through all their attributes. She takes care of his hand when she burns it with coffee so he starts calling her "Doc" and when she asks why, he explains. As he's leaving, she calls him "Grumpy". She ends up needing a second job & her friend recommends that she work for her brother. It ends up being Remington. I really like this new series and can't wait for the next one. Listening to Sebastian York and Emma Wilder bring the story to life is a real bonus.
