very touching, yet hot story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Saddled and Spurred?

when Harper first meets the goats. when Bran lets Harper take the lead. Bran is so hot and
a bit shy.

What does Scarlet Chase bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I am getting use to your voice and it is growing on me

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did as I had stopped book #1 and gave this one a try. Glad I did as this was a good one.
Our gal, just does not give up and works so darn hard. Your heart aches.

Where does Saddled and Spurred rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I'm just half way through, I had to stop because I don't want this audio to end too soon. I don't know how they go about picking a narrator ,but Scarlet Chase is great. She does male and female voices excellent. Great job.

Carolyn Brown can't write fast enough!

I love Ms Brown's books! Her sense of humour and the way she portrays her sexy alpha cowboys and the strength of the women- blended smoothly with a good story line. That's some good reading/listening. Her stories are Western romances and set in rural communities, with rodeo and ranching providing the back drop. Oh! And the sultry sexy times are well written and make me want to move to Wyoming. I can hardly wait till the rest of the series are in audio- I've read all I can find, but would prefer to have them in sound, especially if they continue to use Scarlet Chase.

Scarlet Chase does an excellent job of the accents and makes the mens voices quite believable. Well done and I'll look for other books that you are narrating.

I enjoyed every aspect of this book. Likable hard working strong heroine. Likable H. Plausible plot and plot twists. Some very funny humor especially regarding goats. Hot sexy scenes. Good narration. I’m looking forward to the next by this author. This is the first book by Lorelei James that I’ve checked out.

Great Read!

Lorelei James, has done it again. This was a great addition to the Blacktop Cowboy series, I also like how previous characters had interactions in the story.

The characters were relatable, the sex was hot, and the story was great! I will definitely continue the series.

Worth every penny and then some

After listening to her books all the way to the end, I always feel like I didn’t pay nearly enough for the entertainment. Her sense of stories and characters are priceless, I’m always left smiling and lightheaded.

This one took a long time to warm up to - the cowboy didn't appeal and I'm not a fan of Scarlet Chase as a narrator. The constant reminder of the beauty pageant life. Lots of characters and some underdeveloped like the sister. Wasn't much to the story - except a lot of sex at weird times that just didn't seem believable.

Way too much explicit sex that made the story boring. Story line was ok. I didn't need all that dirty sex...and the F word!
