Excellent romance

This one has a great storyline and interesting characters. There’s a building relationship, a very hurtful past, lots of really good super hot sex, mixed with some angst & heartaches. Great narration by Ms Chase.
I’m really glad I decided to give this author another try, the 1st in this series was my 1st of hers. In my opinion besides the hot sex the 1st book didn’t have anything going for it. There was too much jealousy between the 2 guys over her and way too much info on the different rodeo circuits. I gave it 3 stars.

Keep coming back for more

I have read (2x) and listened (2x) to the series. I really enjoy the characters interaction with each other. Harper is easy going with a quick wit and Brand's pride and determination make for a good team. There's a lot of sex scenes in this book but in the end the declaration of love Brand shows Harper is truly romantic.

The end was packed with emotion...I am not an overly sappy person & this ending had my heart clenching, butterflies in my stomach & emotions all twisted up!

ANOTHER JUICY RAUNCHY RANCH ROMANCE

Great second instalment of the rugged, tough, sexy cowboys that we've all come to love (and hate at times). However, this could easily be a stand alone listen as I am sure they all could be.

If you've already listened and enjoyed book 1 or listened and enjoyed any of LJ's other books then do yourselves a favour and stop reading this review and just download this now 'coz times a wasting!.

However, if you haven't then within the hours of listening to this story you will find yourselves transported to a slice of life in a small town that's filled with interesting characters and hot cowboys and ranch-hands that are very needy demanding and sexy whose personalities always clash, but ultimately bend, when faced with the one woman that they just can't tame.

Worth a credit? Well, this was a fun, sad, frustrating, passionate, romantic HOT HOT HOT listen which I own up to thoroughly enjoy delving into occasionally - so that would be a yummy YES YES YES from me.

Yes, It's the second in the series. It starts out slow but then it gets yummy!!

Harper, because she does what it takes to survive.

It has explict sexual content. I can't wait to hear the third and fourth book in this series. Its a good storyline and has kept my interest.

Steamy listen!

If you've ever listened to Lorelei James, you know these Cowboys provide for a steamy listen. I like the Rough Riders series. This was my first of the Blacktop Cowboys series. These are great to listen to as they are included in the Romance package. Yes, worth the credit but even better as part of this 30-day trial.

This was a pretty good story.

I really like this story. the performance at the narrator was really great, she knows how to really put the emotion and the feeling into the story.

Although I felt there were times that the story dragged through no fault of the narrator. Ifelt there was a lot of repeating things that really did not need to be repeated so much. This made this story the same longer than what it would have originally been if the author had not repeated herself throughout parts of the book.

Even with this occurrence in the book, It was a good enough plot that it kept you wanting to read more to the end. And this is why I would recommend it to other readers with the warning that there are parts that drag

I will continue to read the other books in the series because I have became invested in the characters and then their lives and the Author did a very good job of pulling the reader into those that lived in this imaginary town of Muddy Gap.
