Immortals fear little...except a secret in the wrong hands.
Tzader Burke uncovers a secret within the Medb coven that threatens to trigger an apocalyptic war and cost him the only woman he loves - Brina Treoir, the Belador warrior queen. Unfortunately, his only battle plan means going into the heart of his enemy's stronghold, TÅμr Medb. As leader of all North American Belador warriors, he's willing to die to protect those he loves, but his close friend, Evalle Kincaid; her mate, Storm; and a tight circle of friends will not stand by and allow him to face that battle alone. With their lives also on the line and a tenuous peace at stake, Tzader has never had more at risk with so little chance to survive.

I'm a Romance Junkie! Love Whispersycn Deals! Tips I use: Sort reviews Most Recent; play with narration speed, some narrators sound better.
Well, I'm definitely in the minority here! I've loved this series, well up until Rogue Belador. I tried multiple times to make it through this story, but the narration really made it hard for me to keep up with all the characters and scenes. I spend hours listening, and replaying multiple chapters. Ughhh, this is time I will never be able to get back.
The two deal breakers for me was the narration, it was really hard to differentiate between many of the characters. The other was the direction the plot is going, I liked it better when there was a more of a balance between the romance and action. Not so much in this story.
For any hardcore fans of the Belador Code, this may be a series to continue, but sadly for me it has fizzled out.
I felt like the dialogue between the main characters was overly simplified. The narration exaggerated that fact by slowing down the reading of the text. However, the narration of Brina and the dragon were fantastic. It was colorful and expressive in tone and rhythm. I am unsure why the other characters felt so flat. The lack of interesting dialogue was also my chief complaint for the previous book. I like the story lines, the essence of the characters, and the worlds the books are set in. However, the dialogue is the weak link and needs the most improvement. The weakness was not apparant in the first several books I read in this series. Not sure what happened or changed. However, the positives outweigh the negatives for me.
Another great addition to the Belabor series! This is my first audiobook, and review, and I fell in love with the audiobook. I've read the rest of the series in paperback, and Kindle, but listening brings the story to life! Loved it, and I'm looking forward to the next book.
unexpected ending, twists, & turns
Brina is pregnant and we now have a new king
I'm not as fond of Stephen R Thorne reading as I was when Christina Traiser did the original books.
I hope we get to see Brina's baby and more on Lana being able to get a hold of her powers and start to have more importance in the stories.
every book adds more depth top the characters I've come to love! I thought the last book might be the end, so I was surprised to see this one and sceptical, but thus really brought past books together and moved the series forward! good reader also. accents were very fun. ,
perfect addition to the series. I've been looking forward to finding out some of the things explained in this chapter. i'm totally excited for the next book coming out in Jan 2017😃
