This is my favorite of the series so far.

Leo is hot, demanding, sensitive and loving. He's willing to do most anything for Sam. Sam has a chip on her shoulder feeling she needs no one. She doesn't want to be beholden to any one. The books in this series are on a formula, but KP gives the two main character couples very dissimilar story lines, so that it doesn't matter.

Good story

loved to story, but too many sex scenes. The sex dialog a little to explicit for my taste.

The back story... H is a major rock star who meets the h shortly after she was fired from her job. She has been burned by others with celebrity status so she is overly prickly.

The Romance... Lust develops quickly but there is a ton of push/pull.

The drama explosion... A Few small things but nothing major.

Final Notes... I kinda wish that every h in this series wasn't prickly to the point of being juvenile at the start of each book. It makes it hard to like or care for the h.

I thought the narration on this book was be9 Mlre of the. men's voices, actually done by males made the changes in chacTers easier to diffenceat

Performance is horrible

I really do enjoy all the books in this series however the performance is awful. If Jennifer Mack wouldn't go out of character and just read I might be able to tolerate her voice. To make it worse you have to throw in a males voice which is even worse than hers. This totally ruins the series for me having these two different narrators.

Enjoyable but...

I am enjoying this series but I feel the author passes up many opportunities to add drama and mystery. I cant really explain without spoiling so I will leave it at that. She stages a perfect plot and then it goes flat. I do applaud the attention to details that bringing readers close to the characters....and of course its HOT!

Sexy Smart and Sweet but Satisfying

This is the book has kept me from giving up on this series. It is the best installment of the series and an example how this genre can be sexy funny and satisfying. Leo is strong sexy man who admires and respects Samantha as much as he wants her. There none of the tired pointless insecure jealousy that plagues the genre. You can see from the start these two people will be good for each other because he's no bully and she's no push over. You want to route for them because under their confidence and intense attraction are vulnerable hearts that have never really trusted themselves to another. They are hot together but they make each other laugh and support each other too. By the end you don't just want them to come out on the other side together, you want to hang out with them over few beers.

I just fell in love with Leo. He's the sweet bad boy

What did you like best about this story?

It's a fantastic story of two people from totally different worlds.They are yin and yang who complete each other.

Loved it wish the story went on

I loved how the walls came crashing down between them as they fell in love. I only wished that we would have gotten more. Their story ended too soon. I wanted to see them build the house move in together and even change their minds about kids and marriage. Loved the narration, both narrators made it come to life. When the band was going to the hospital.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. It was entertaining and I was looking forward to hearing about the other characters.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed Leo and Sam's story. It wasn't my favorite, but a good next book in the series. Sam is tough and Independent and I appreciate this in a lead character. This series has been worth my credits.
