every single freaking thing… but mostly LEE, and LUKE, and EDDIE, omg HANK.. and ..well, you get it.

it's like bridget jones and a lifetime/abc family movie, oh, and a dash of Spice Girls.

Have you listened to any of Susannah Jones’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

it will do. in her defense its very difficult to fill in Indy shoes.

And in the beginning.... There was a fabulous series worthy of being read over and over. May be my favorite ever!! Love Lee, Indy, and of course, Tex!

4.5 stars The hero is alpha, the heroine is a free spirit that everyone wants to do the nasty with, there are too many hilarious moments to count. Everything and exactly what I've come to expect from a Kristen Ashley.

Rock Chicks was a fun listen!!

Indy has been in love with Lee Nightingale since she was 5 year old when he held her hand at her mom's funeral. An opportunity has presented itself after Indy gave up on him 10 years ago. In the midst of a friends predicament Lee offers Indy his help.

I enjoy Kristen's writing. I read another series of her's and was briefly introduced to these two characters. It was fun getting to know them - especially Indy. She has such a great personality!

Rock Chicks was fun to listen to. I can't tell you how many times I caught myself laughing out loud and chuckling at something Indy said or did.

Susannah Jones does a great job narrating this book. She caught my attention immediately and captured what I imagine Indy sounding like. Perfect fit!

If you like Romantic Comedies with gorgeous bad ass guys, then this is a series for you! This group of characters that Kristen has put together is going to be a blast to get to know. I look forward to listening to the rest of this series.

Would you listen to Rock Chick again? Why?

Yes, yes, yes! Hot alpha guys, sassy girls, danger (but not gore), and humor-all performed by a fabulous narrator-why wouldn't I? I'd already read the book, the audio was twice as nice!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lee because he is the bossy badass that will do anything to protect the love of his life, even though she gets herself into most of the situations she needs protecting from.

What does Susannah Jones bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The amazing voices that bring life to the characters. I could tell who was speaking without being told. She reads with emotion and perfect animation.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Dress cool, because this movie is HOT!

Beyond Addicting... My Absolute Favorite!

Where does Rock Chick rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As I said in my title this is my favorite book series. Now let me explain the significance of this. I work data entry and therefore spend 8 to 16 hours a day typing and listening to books. I typically read a book a day... that adds up quickly. This series has it all sassy women, friendship, developed characters, action, passion, love story, and lots of humor. Oh, and hot alpha men!! The narration is amazing to boot.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Can I pick just one? I love Indy and Lee they are the core of this series. However, Tex makes me laugh with his big boom and crazy moments. I love them all!

Which character – as performed by Susannah Jones – was your favorite?

I'm super impressed by all her voices. This book has so many characters and the men all sound sexton and very different. The women are all perfectly portrayed. She has serious talent! I never have to guess who is who.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Lee is the ultimate bad as alpha male. Owns his own large, successful pi firm. Yet, he will drop anything for Indy. He is sweet and tender with her. My favorite lines are when he "looks for patience" and simply reply with a f***. It makes me smile every time and melt. You know he loves her and is just thinking what he's going to have to do next with her crazy antics.

Any additional comments?

Be prepared and put time aside when you start this book. You will not want to push pause or wait between books for that matter. I don't get much sleep in my life in general and was more than willing to give up hours of it to continue the story. I have listened and read this series multiple times and never get bored. I wish more than in any book I've read that these characters were real and my friends. Oh, I'd love to be a rock chick!!

Would you listen to Rock Chick again? Why?

I love Kristen Ashley and I am so happy that she has given us her books many of which are available on audible now. I never tire of re-reading her books and now I can listen to her works when I am doing drudgery around the house. It makes cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming much more interesting! Thanks to Kristen for her fantastic books and to Susannah Jones who is an awesome narrator!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tex! I just love booming, totally un-politically correct, soft hearted, crazy looking Tex.

Which character – as performed by Susannah Jones – was your favorite?

I can't choose who Susannah read best. She did very well on each of them. I can't say that's how I heard the characters in my head when I read this book, but what she came up with worked well for me.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Nope, thank god! That would have been one LONG sitting!!

Please, please, please, get all of Kristen Ashley's books on audible!! I am kind of a KA-aholic... can you tell??

Fun, Sassy & Snarky

I read Rock Chick, my first book by Kristen Ashley, over 2 years ago, so I was ready to start a reread of this series. Rock Chick is the first book in the series and starts to introduce us to the Rock Chicks and Hot Bunch.
I love the fun, sassy, snarky attitude of this story. It's what really drew me into this book and series!

“He’ll be okay,” she said. “You know, you wouldn’t even want a man who wouldn’t go back to save someone’s mother and a drag queen.”

Indy Savage has been in love with Lee Nightingale since she was 5 years old, but he has always claimed to look at her as a sister. When Indy's life is in danger, Lee's investigative team is on the job, but Indy and her best friend Ally (Lee's sister) try to look into things on their own and find even more trouble.

"Your grandmother used to say that you were two souls separated in heaven. She mainly meant you were both trouble and deserved each other.”

I listened to most of this on audiobook and loved the amazing narration by Susannah Jones!

“Maybe we should have this conversation in an alternate universe where Alternate Indy gives a shit what Alternate Lee wants her to wear."

Hot as sin! Hysterical ! Perfection personified!

What made the experience of listening to Rock Chick the most enjoyable?

The absolute perfection of hot sexual interlude! Exciting twists and turns of danger, absolutely packed with interesting people you can't help but love, and side splitting antics of Rock Chicks. I can't wait to read book two!

Max the war vet, self proclaimed commando stole my heart

Which scene was your favorite?

When Max showed up and saved the damsel with tear gas and flash bang grenade

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Every minute was moving

Would you consider the audio edition of Rock Chick to be better than the print version?

Definitely the audio edition. The narrator manages to bring this book to life and you feel as if your part of this new band of friends and family.

I couldn't stop listening to it. I completed the whole book in one setting

If your looking for a fantastic new series of fun then you've just lucked out. I highly recommed this book to anyone. You'll laugh out loud and fall in love all at once. Worse the credit
