Audio gives me time to listen and do other stuff around the house or while driving.
You never knew what was going to happen, hum drum books that you do not even have to hear all of are boring.
Totally addicted to Audible.
Love these men, love the women in their lives, love how they are so totally real. Great story - great series.
this book and story is a fairy tale i am a person who loves happily ever after so i loved it the reader was amazing portraying it
Sure, great characters and interesting material
Nora Roberts books in general - similar style and story line
Great voices - I could tell right away who was talked and this kept me interested
I love the Quinn brothers and this series and the narrator completely butchered it for me. I'm going to try the 3rd one with Phillip since it's a new narrator and hopefully it won't be too terrible. Phillip sounds like a girl right now....
HATE spoilers! Enjoy HOT, sexy books w/a plot. No vampires, paranormal, teens 4 me. Books outside HOT genre = books given to me to review
In the second installment of the series we are focused on Ethan, his past and it the similarities to young Seth.
Grace is a young mother who is doing any job she can to make a life for her young daughter. She is the housekeeper at the family home (Ethan and brothers) by day & barmaid/waitress by night.
Grace and Ethan have known each other forever and she has always had a thing for him & him for her. Ethan doesn't want to think about Grace, as she is quite a bit younger than him. This is a great romance story.
However, it is much more than a simple romance – actually complex romance. Much of the focus is on Ethan's life before he met the Quinn family and they rescued him from a horrible past. But because of that past he does not believe he is deserving or can care or love anyone.
Great narration – feminine female, male toddler, 12-year-old & elderly man are all done with near perfection.
I absolutely love this series. I just bought the last two!.
Notes: Description of sex, few cusses, the subject of child molestation runs throughout the book as characters try to deal with past.
Credit worthy/$ : Absolutely on either. I can to continue with the series but at the same time I want to take my time because I don't want to series to and. Does that make sense?

The book is great. I had read the hard copy several years ago. I enjoyed listening to the audible version. The audible books will beat having to order large print volumes down the road!
I like Nora Roberts' books. They are simple but well-written and engaging. I liked the first in this series and this one also. However, if you buy the series from Audible you will hear that the narrator does not stay true to character throughout the series. The voice he uses for Cameron in the first book becomes Ethan's voice off and on here. Even so, Cameron's voice is the same. Phillip's is the most jarring change because he often has Ethan's voice here which is a completely different tone and manner than his character. It doesn't ruin the book but it is irritating. I feel that audiobooks are doing pretty well in the business sense and I keep thinking publishers and producers could do s much better job of casting the narrators and reviewing performances before they put them on the market. Some don't seem to have gone through even a cursory edit before we are allowed to spend our money on them and that just seems thoughtless and lacking in any sense of pride in their product.
This is my second time listening to this book. It makes me so happy. I was in a down mood when I started it. A great read for any romantic.
Ethan was my favorite character. I enjoyed how Roberts revealed all levels of his complex yet simple personality.
Davis is always engaging.
Yes I laid in bed & listened to most of it in its entirety.
"Part 2 of the sreies"
Yes, its a good story
Cam, he is so strong and sure of himself
he does the voices very clearly
When Seth realises that the 3 Quinn brothers think of him as their brother
great story, looking forward to book 3
The Quinn Brothers series follows the usual romance format but in this case the main characters do have a bit of an edge. All three male protagonists had a harsh start in life and suffered childhood violence, sexual abuse or gang life. Brought together by their adopted father's death and his dying wish that they care for a fourth adopted brother, a ten year old boy named Seth who none of them know well, Cam, Ethan and Phil must work together to restructure their lives and prevent Seth being returned to life of negligence and cruelty. Along the way they must they must clear their father's name and, as befitting of a Nora Roberts novel, negotiate happiness with the love of their lives.
The narrator's easy drawl adds to the tone of the story and although the characters are involving this is very easy listening. No major twist coming your way, everything does end happily ever after (it's a romance novel after all)!
Be warned though, no mysteries are laid to rest until the third book Inner Harbor and the Quinn Brothers swear - a lot! You may want to use headphones for this one!
