Audio gives me time to listen and do other stuff around the house or while driving.
You never knew what was going to happen, hum drum books that you do not even have to hear all of are boring.
Totally addicted to Audible.
Love these men, love the women in their lives, love how they are so totally real. Great story - great series.
this book and story is a fairy tale i am a person who loves happily ever after so i loved it the reader was amazing portraying it
Sure, great characters and interesting material
Nora Roberts books in general - similar style and story line
Great voices - I could tell right away who was talked and this kept me interested
I love the Quinn brothers and this series and the narrator completely butchered it for me. I'm going to try the 3rd one with Phillip since it's a new narrator and hopefully it won't be too terrible. Phillip sounds like a girl right now....
This is my second time listening to this book. It makes me so happy. I was in a down mood when I started it. A great read for any romantic.
Ethan was my favorite character. I enjoyed how Roberts revealed all levels of his complex yet simple personality.
Davis is always engaging.
Yes I laid in bed & listened to most of it in its entirety.
I liked the premise of the story and Ethan was an interesting character - But what happened to the women?!! Anna is interfering and aggressive and Grace is not at all interesting.
The entire story of Ethan and Grace is totally unbelievable and the perfect ending would have been for Ethan to find someone who loves the man he is, not the man she wants him to be. I can't believe that Grace plans the whole proposal, marriage, and happily ever after on the strength of a bouquet of handpicked flowers and an invitation to dinner. For crying out loud, it's their FIRST date!
I hope not - it needs a lot more filler.
Though I would love to know what happens with Seth, I do not plan to put myself through the rest of the series.
Ethan's character was well written and a good fit to calm Cameron's character, I particularly enjoyed the way Ms Roberts explored the strong yet unique relationship that Seth had with each brother.
Ethan seems quite but fines out he is really bossy. Tight with the family but slow in love he just needed a fire lit under him because he is HOT HOT. Great 2nd book
The Quinn Brothers series follows the usual romance format but in this case the main characters do have a bit of an edge. All three male protagonists had a harsh start in life and suffered childhood violence, sexual abuse or gang life. Brought together by their adopted father's death and his dying wish that they care for a fourth adopted brother, a ten year old boy named Seth who none of them know well, Cam, Ethan and Phil must work together to restructure their lives and prevent Seth being returned to life of negligence and cruelty. Along the way they must they must clear their father's name and, as befitting of a Nora Roberts novel, negotiate happiness with the love of their lives.
The narrator's easy drawl adds to the tone of the story and although the characters are involving this is very easy listening. No major twist coming your way, everything does end happily ever after (it's a romance novel after all)!
Be warned though, no mysteries are laid to rest until the third book Inner Harbor and the Quinn Brothers swear - a lot! You may want to use headphones for this one!
