Publisher's Summary

Audie Award Finalist, Erotica, 2014

For fans of Fifty Shades of Gray and Bared to You comes an erotic, emotionally charged romance between a powerful man who’s never heard "no" and a fiery woman who says "yes" on her own terms.

He was the one man I couldn’t avoid. And the one man I couldn’t resist.

Damien Stark could have his way with any woman. He was sexy, confident, and commanding: Anything he wanted, he got. And what he wanted was me.

Our attraction was unmistakable, almost beyond control, but as much as I ached to be his, I feared the pressures of his demands. Submitting to Damien meant I had to bare the darkest truth about my past - and risk breaking us apart.

But Damien was haunted, too. And as our passion came to obsess us both, his secrets threatened to destroy him - and us - forever.

Release Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

"Kinda like 50 shades - but not"

Not very original, not very sexy, and way too much use of the f- word. I will not read any more of the series. Lucky I got this in a sale.

    "Seriously!"

I could almost heat the bad porn music in the background. I dislike getting a book only to find out that there's absolutely no depth.

    "Skip this one"

Breathy, shallow narration of a watered down 50 shades. The last one was better. Have seen better reviews of book 4, so I'll give it a try, but definitely recommend skipping this one

"Story only "ok"... Narration was boring."

Storyline was good but I did not care for the terms the author chose to use for sex scenes. The terms were a little brash and not sexy in my book. The narrator was also a bit boring… Due to this I will not be listening to the next books in the series.

    "Not what I expected"

I listened twice and still didn't like it. Not very much emotion in the reader. I probably won't buy anymore of the series.

"Awful narration, badly written don't buy"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Can't figure that one out. The story line is weak. Couldn't even get interested after listening to 2 chapers.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    K. Bromberg's second book.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I don't understand how you can put out these books with such lousy narrators. Who does quality control with these productions? Does anyone really listen?

What character would you cut from Release Me (The Stark Trilogy)?

    All of them.

    Any additional comments?

I think I've been negative enough.

    "A little juvenile"
Is there anything you would change about this book?

It drags and is juvenile in it's language.

What could J. Kenner have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

A little more depth in the characters would be nice.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Sofia Willingham?

    on the fence

    "Smart Girl - Bad Choices!"

Here is a character, Nicky, who is an electrical engineer btw, who melts the instant some unbelievably (yes, another billionaire) wealthy, attractive man decides he wants her. OMG the "erotic" scenes weren't worth the long, rambling passages about how amazing Damian is, he's so wonderful that he is paying me $1M bucks to pose nude?! Please! Do not waste a credit on this one.

"I TRIED TWICE BUT I HATE THIS BOOK"
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

It is just very very slow and the narrator is very monotone

What could J. Kenner have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

CHANGE THE NARRATOR AND MOE SEX PLEASE

How did the narrator detract from the book?

    NO EXCITMENT

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    DISAPOINTMENT
