Publisher's summary

Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

The Whole Crossfire Serirs

I love this whole series!! I've listened to all four books about ten times. I love the narrator's voice, especially when she does Gideon Cross. I hope this series is made into a movie. Keep the romance alive. "Fifty" started it, now let us continue it. They make me so happy, even though I know it's fantasy. I love the dream. I recommend Henry Cavill as Gideon. Please!

Loved Listening to every minute of this book.

I Book two of the series was just as good as book one. Eva and Gideon relationship is strange since they mostly communicate when having sex and they both have issue they need to work on. Gideon Finally opens up to Eva about what happen to him as a child in the last few Chapters. Can't wait for book three I am addicted.

Slow moving book

This is the 2nd book in the series and it just failed to capture my attention until the last 60 minutes. It dragged on quite a bit, but overall the book was okay.

Another 'good' Crossfire novel.

Not as exciting as book 1 but still a good listen. I love the narrator of these Crossfire novels. A few issues I have is that Ava seems quite needy and it can be annoying at times whilst Gideon feels the need to control/dominate any and everything around him. That aspect of his character can become tiresome at times but other than that, I enjoyed the book and will be moving on to book 3.

Good and Bad

A lot of this book is gag worthy for anyone with an ounce of dignity or self respect, period. Codependent doesn't BEGIN to describe the unhealthy nature of the interaction between Gideon and Eva. The sex between them, a LOT of sex between them, was based less on love than a need for validation and reassurance.

I rated it 4 stars because there is more to the read than just the primary love affair. The story of Cary's injury and all that happens after, the story of Eva's parents, and the unfinished story of Gideon's past are all there. All are well done and are engaging. Those kept me reading...and were worth the time.

Very 50 Shades

Would you consider the audio edition of Reflected in You to be better than the print version?

No, I believe reading this book would have made it better for me. The performance was great, but your own imagination would make this book even hotter.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the family and friend dynamics, which I wasn't expecting, but it made the story more lovable.

Which character – as performed by Jill Redfield – was your favorite?

Ava's mother, for sure. She made me laugh. Kerry was also great, but Ava's mom was classic.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

No clue.

Any additional comments?

I was bummed because I listened to this book before the first book in the series, not realizing I had them out of order. Wish they would have been numbered to keep me straight.

the part when the detective told her how she summed it all up for her she had no idea.
