Do you have an object of obsession? For Lindsey, her obsession is the deadly sexy Rhys, who makes her toes curl, her temperature rise, and other parts of her body react beyond her control. Rhys always avoided emotional attachments to women...until Lindsey. Now, though, a dark family secret keeps Rhys from giving Lindsey the commitment she deserves. Lindsey discovers Rhys' secret the hard way while her own dark past occasionally rears its ugly head. Laced with laugh-out-loud humor and steamy scenes, L. D. Davis' latest novel follows Lindsey as she collects pieces of Rhys in her quest to find the whole man.

I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
I really really like this. I actually got this before AOP... and I am so glad I did. I would have never got this if I listen to AOP first. Lindsey is a great great character and so is Rhys. I love how Rhys comes to get his girl in the end.
Narration was awesome
For as much as I read and listen you would think by now that I would know how to spell lol. I read at least 5 books a week there are times I have gotten up to 10 in a week.
This book had a lot of promise and I was looking forward to it. Then I begun to read/listen to it. Oh my word! BOOOYAH! Seriously, some of the catch phrases used in this book was funny the first time but got very freaking annoying the next several times of it being said back to back. Fo shiz.....are we not adults in this book?!?! This writing style would of been completely fine if this book was based on TEENAGERS! But since we were suppose to be reading about adults it made them just look plain ole stupid in ignorant. With that being said, if you can over look this words that distract from the story then it would be an okay read. My other main problem was that nothing was ever really "talked" about. You was left to feel in the blanks on almost every conversation in the book and on the majority of the characters. This book was not well thought out or planned. One second we are in the bed having sex next we started a whole new life and is currently about to get in bed with another person. Where was the heartbreak and emotion? Where was the things that she went threw to get to that point or stage. It just did not flow well and felt like huge chunks where missing. I had the kindle version as well as the audio and the audio did skip parts of the kindle version. But still pieces was missing. This is the second book by this writer, the first book it took me a few try's to get into but then I grew to love it so I gave this one a shot even knowing I did not like the narrator. This will also be my last book by the writer and narrator. I am sick of wasting money on highschoolish style of writing.
In my heart, I believe that all fiction authors are gods. They create worlds and give life to people who only live in them.
Very witty dialogue makes this story entertaining. Also the reader does a great job with the material. Probably not one for the reread playlist, but still a fun listen.
Ok first I was hesitant to buy the audio book because... Well... Ok...I'm a minutes snob even though I loved AOP, this book is just short of 5 hours and I am usually reluctant to used my credit on anything shorter than 8 hours. Well I have to say I'm glad I went outside my comfort zone because this book is awesome and boy oh boy a lot was packed into that 4 plus hours. I laughed, got teary eyed and thought about waking my husband out of a sound sleep to give me some! What more can a girl ask for? Serena Daniels narrates again and of course did a outstanding job. Now what I'm I gonna do till the next book is written? Sigh...
I don't know if it was the writing style or the narrator, but I couldn't connect with the book's characters. She just came off as trashy and disgusting. I'm sorry I wasted money on this.
