loved it!

Really great narrators, and a fun and challenging story. Moyes may never again achieve the pinnacle of Me Before You (one of my all time favs), but this book was very very good. I enjoyed it start to finish.

I loved this book!

This is one of those books where you are looking to sneak off for a listen like a guilty pleasure. Moyes has a rare talent for story telling. These characters and situations are so relatable. The reader/listener is swept into the sift from the beginning.
The narrators nailed their parts.

What fun!

A truly enjoyable story with ups and downs and great narration. I just needed a positive, NORMAL story and this was perfect!

great book

I don't write many reviews. this was a very good book. it was a little sloe I thought to get going, but keep with it. It pulls together relatively quickly...a few chapters. you care about the characters and I certainly had several laugh out loud moments. the performances were fantastic! highly recommend this book.

Sweet story with lovable characters

A very enjoyable listen. You are rooting for all the characters. Perfect listen for a little escapism.

Me encanto la historia, es el segundo libro de Jojo Moyes que leo, y sigo enamorada de sus libros. Bella historia, tiene muchas vueltas y reveses que uno no imaginaria. La actuación excelente, cada personaje tan diferente y bien descritas sus emociones.

Love this author!

After the Me Before You trilogy, I wanted to try some more books by Moyes. Was not sure at the beginning but was sucked in. Moyes makes me FEEL the characters and I look forward to the next one.

One Plus One equals Five Star!

What made the experience of listening to One Plus One the most enjoyable?

Tess and Ned are perhaps the most unlikely heroes a reader will ever come across. However, it is their everyday choices to "never say die" and enjoy each rich moment that made me laugh and cry. The fate of the country did not hang on their choices, but if more people were like them, the country would be a better place to live. I found myself pulling for all of the characters and enjoying their brilliance.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tess was my favorite. Because of her determination and courage, she was able to affect the greatest change in those around her.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I loved the English accent that was not "Too English". It was "spot on."

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I am not an "All in one sitting" kind of gal. If I get interested in a book, I force myself to stop every so often, just to reflect on parts that I especially enjoyed. However, I had to work especially hard to force myself to stop listening. Especially when my tears started, I wanted all to work out. At that point, I could not stop.

Any additional comments?

I read, or rather listen, to about 2 books a week. This is probably the best book that I have listened to in over a year. Thank you Jojo Moyes for an excellently written book.

Enjoyable from beginning to the end!

I loved this book! I love when a story pulls you in right away and you are fully immersed in the tale. There was never a dull moment, never anytime where my thoughts drifted while listening and by the second half of the book I was binge listening (instead of just to and from work). I really identified with Jessica because I am a single mother of two teenage boys and I have to deal with an ex who puts himself before anyone else on the planet and couldn't care less if we suffer. I understood her plights coming one after another and was happy to see how resilient she was. I think any single mom who has struggled will really enjoy this book. The big difference in my life is there has never been a knight! Lucky for Jessica - she found one - albeit not your typical knight!

slow start but. jojo. moyes does not fail to disappoint! Flawed characters with feelings you can relate to, really enjoyable read!!
