So glad I took a chance!
This was such a great book! It is life in a nutshell, ups, downs and everything in between. This had me literally crying at work at times and laughing at loud! It's a little slow getting started, but stick with, you won't be sorry.

No loose ends and the ending you are hoping for
Read by multiple narrators, the performance is in the same style as "Me Before You," the first Jojo Moyes novel I heard.
The story contains many teachable moments, beginning with "never judge a book by its cover" as it pertains to people (not to the novel).
Interesting characters, real personality types who exist all around us, if not in our own homes.
Very pleased when the book ended because everything was wrapped up neatly - no need for a sequel. I liked this one.

I'm still adjusting to the pace of audiobooks so I have yet to find my 5 star. I read rather quickly- often with books that are best sellers like Gone Girl or the Goldfinch I can't stand to listen as I would read it much faster. Easing into audiobooks has been a joy with Jojo Moyes work. I find myself driving around the block a few extra times to finish a chapter. I have yet to actually pace myself when listening to her books!

Charming
I really enjoyed this read. Not too heavy, with just enough grit to make it believable. You really care about the characters. I didn’t mind the slow areas. They are a respite from the chaotic life of this family.

Sweet story, great performances!
Moi, as is a wonderful writer. Even when she goes into great detail, it’s lovely. I’ve enjoyed several of her books and will try even more. I recommend this book for a long rides, long walks, and relaxing moments.
