Publisher's summary

Cassie Wainwright thought that her father - head coach of the Santa Fe Bobcats - ignored her purposefully. Come to find out, he had no clue that she'd ever been born. Now Cassie is determined to meet the man who's always been missing from her life. Her mother warns her that being the long-lost daughter of a well-known NFL coach won't be easy, but Cassie's determined to stick it out - and before her life turns upside down, she wants one more night of fun.

Starting quarterback for the Santa Fe Bobcats Trey Owens is tired of being in the limelight. Lucky for him, the beautiful brunette he meets at the club isn't a local. She has no idea who he is, and she's down to party.

Tomorrow Cassie will think about her father. Tomorrow she'll think about her future - but tonight is for herself and the hottie she found on the dance floor. It's a match made in heaven, if only for a night....

Everything you want

This was surprisingly sweet, funny, and relatable. The leading lady is unapologetically herself, hilarious, ride or die, nerdy, and vulnerable. This supports the theory that a good love story is forged through a strong female protagonist.

Cute

Nothing steamy but cute. Low drama. Wicked stepmom. It seems last chapter leaves you hanging but recording messed up. Continue listening after the audible portion, the last chapter begins after the audible ending.

A pleasant surprise

This book showed up on my list of recommended books several times. The description didn’t do it justice.
The story was much deeper than I anticipated. Really enjoyable.
The narrator was great too!

Chapter 24 is Back

There are reviews that say that chapter 24 is missing, but it has been added back. The book will sound like it is closing out at the end of chapter 23, with the typical thanks for listening bit, but then chapter 24 plays.

Chapter 24 Isn't Missing!

Loved this book and the narrator as well. It's a nice easy listen with some drama but not an overwhelming amount. The chemistry between the H&H was obvious and so sweet. The secondary characters were well developed and added to the story nicely.

With that being said, towards the end of the book (end of chapter 23), it appears that the book ends abruptly (the 'this has been a production of...' speech starts up) and on a cliffhanger. ITS A LIE! The end of the book recording seems to have been flip-flopped with the final chapter of the book. So keep listening after the book 'ends' for the final chapter!

Missing the last chapter!

Love this story! Sad the last chapter is missing. Don't know what happened with that.

The finale In the epilogue???? really??

this book was very slow moving and took forever to get to the point. too many side stories. then it ends in a cliffhanger and the HEA is in the epilogue! an editor should have fixed that.

so much senseless drama

This story had so much senseless drama. The main characters were in their late twenties but their actions were like a five year old. The h was so immature and her dialogue, again like a five year old. Her decisions for dating, wow, was she a five year old too? I managed to finish this story but i wouldn't recommend it. This story was not romance since the main characters had to hide their love interest. There's no connection between them at all. He even broke up with the h and she took him back without any work besides exchanging a few words. After investing a few hours, the ending didn't even do justice. This was another example of dumb heroine and story. This was my first from this author and most likely will be my last. I chose this story because i love to listen to Carly/CJ and she is one of my favorite readers.
