a lot of sex scenes, but Good plot

I'm not too fond of the number of sex scenes in the book, but I was intrigued with the plot. He characters were real developed. I do feel like the voice of Vlad was a bit too much and sounded more comical, then sexy or vampiric. but you can't fix everything. She really just went off of the accents that are generally given to vampires from Romania or Transylvania. The other characters voices did not seem to fit their descriptions either. Maximus, Marty, and even her dad's voice seemed a bit forced. But all-in-all the book was good, you could tell who was who and you could follow the story easily with a different random voices. So, I do appreciate the effort Tavia put into reading and the creativity that Janine put into writing. If you like fantasy, mystery, and action, then you'll like this book.

I would highly recommend this awesome audiobook. This book dragged me in from beginning to end. The narrator the story line everything.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Vlad of course. Who doesn't love a powerful Vampire Alpha male? The way he swoops in and saves Leila is great.

This is my first listening to any of Tavia Gilbert’s performances. It was excellent. I went and searched for books narrated by her after listening to this

This was my first book by Jeaniene Frost and I am hooked. The plot drew me in from the beginning and there were not any moments when i felt the book dragged. Each moment held a significance

Entertaining from Starr to finish

While I could poke a few holes in the plot, the simple truth is I didn't want to. it was far too much fun to just kick back and let the story transport you to the world of Franky, a young girl still struggling to find her way in society when it's shattered.

Couldn't put it down!

From beginning to end I was completely entranced. Vlad and Layla are intriguing characters who rapidly made a place in my heart.

If you like Jeaniene's Night Huntress Series, then you love this. It's in her style, and one of her better books in my opinion. I'm certain there will be more in the series and I look forward to listening to them. The narrator did an excellent job with voices and accents, and the characters were memorable and loveable, with lots of action thrown into the love story.
