The way it is written and the narrated just bring the whole book together. It is just a great listen.

I love Tania Gilbert narrating. She has the knack of reading a book and making it sound great. One of the best narrator's I think. She has a unique way that just draws you into the book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, just loved the whole book. Not one particular moment was better than the other.

Magic book, loved it to bits.

Almost didn't make it

Stick with it, the beginning is terrible but stick with it and it will get better. Plus, the narrator is great!!!

What made the experience of listening to Once Burned the most enjoyable?

I have enjoyed other Jeaniene Frost books, but this one was to good to stop listening too. I listened from start straight through to the end. And Can't wait for the next one!

Not quite Cat and Bones....but close!

If you love Cat and Bones I think you will like this new series. This series is a "cousin" to Cat and Bones and they are even mentioned. Very hot and sexy couple Vlad and Leila are just getting to know each other, they both have unique powers and I believe they are on their way to being a super couple fighting the bad guys. The narrator is great and has really great accents, I get goose bumps when she does Bones because I love him so much!

I totally loved it. Really enjoyable book. would recommend it ti anyone. Can not wait to listen to the next book in the series

Wonderfully entertaining

This is my first book from this author.  I was hesitant to start this book based on other comments saying they loved the Vlad version from the NH series. I've not read that series but I think this helped. I didn't spend any time on comparing one Vlad to the other.
I will definitely continue reading this series!

When Leila had a vision of what will happen between she and Vlad and couldn't stop her reaction in front of him and his teasing demeanor.

I must say that this couple on these paranormal romance stories is my favorite.

It's an easy reading (audio) full of action and romantic tension plus smut scenes.
Very enjoyable.
