Loved the story hated Vlads Voice

I love this book the writing is marvelous and engaging. however as a mom all i heard was Gru from Despicable Me. Which damaged the illusion for me. This is one of those book i pick up again and again but yes need a better Vlad. You will not be disappointed with the story. I'm so invested to see what happens to Frankie and Vlad. in the next book!

Great book. Unique twist to the Dracula story.

I liked this twist on the Dracula story. Frankie, our heroine was fun with some great gifts of her own. The book was a pleasure to listen to as the artist was gifted and navigated through the characters without sounding hokey or forced. I am looking forward to reading/listening to the rest of the series. It should be fun since the author and artist continue their collaboration.

Wow...another great book

If you like the night huntress books, you will enjoy this one. I finished this one in one day. I cannot wait for the next book.

THE WHOLE THING..LOVED VLAD...THAT GUY IS A TRIP. THE AUTHOR HAS ONE HECK OF A SENSE OF HUMOR:) THE CHARACTERS BLENDED WELL WITH ONE ANOTHER.

LOVED IT!!!!

Every once in awhile I switch to listening to dark romance novels. They are not really my forte but Jeaniene Frost and J.R.Ward are brilliant at character development and plots. With this said I absolutely love the Vlad (Dark Prince) novel. It is sexy without over doing the raunchy sex, It is action-packed with suspense and mystery.

The novel takes the historical elements of Vlad Tepesh's history and character and turns him into ruthless vampire. "Frankie" or Layla has the ability to touch objects and see past and present. She also has the deadly ability to electrify those she touches. These abilities come after a horrific accident as a child. Caught in the middle of a vampire war, she is unwillingly sucked in (no pun) while trying to save those she loves.

The story is great, the love story is wonderful, and the action will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Great visit to this worldq

This is a great expansion on the Cat and Bones world. One of the two main characters is one of my favorite minor characters from the Cat and Bones books. The book was packed with action and the female main character was extemely likeable. There were cameo appearances by Cat, Bones, Menchares, and Kira. A more in depth look at Vlad's house was a very welcome addtion to these books. Tavia Gilbert did a great job as a narrator.

Good beginning, eager for the next

I liked Leila's past and her special abilities. Vlad's humor comes out even with a human that is frightened by him, I saw little sparks of what his character looked like from Cat's point of view, although he did not feel as fleshed out as I would have liked him to be.

However I am definitely interested in this part of the series and am eager to see if the author purses this line of the story.

Frost does NOT disappoint!

I enjoyed this fast paced complex visit into the world of Vlad. In this story we get to learn what makes him the Kick A** he is. I loved everything about this book, except the length...I wanted it to go on.

This has been one of my favorite books. I liked the action, and the romance scenes.

Delivers

All of Jeaniene Frost's books are very good but this one really draws you in and keeps you wondering what is next... Awesome. Can't wait for the next in the series!!!
