One of Roberts’ top books!
I don’t know what took me so long to get to this book, perhaps my own bias towards female performers. The story and the reader/performer where spot on! The readers did a good job at adapting the voices to the moods and characters and never fell out of character. The story captures you from beginning to end!

Nora has never let me down. What an amazing writer. This book was just so good. Gary Littman is one of the best narrators of all time. Remarkably read.

Classic Nora
A quick witted, damaged hero, too delectable to ignore; a heroine with more guts than 10 women, no slouch in the damaged department either BTW. Add to that a cast of secondary characters to make any listener's Top Ten List of Absolute Hoots. And the narrator is brilliant.
Don't pass this one up. You'll be sorry if you do.

Enjoyed the setting
The story line was excellent as was the narrative. Nora just has to make the men boss the women around. “Stay here, get back, don’t do that”. In this case the woman knew more then he did.
