Nothing sucks the romance out of world travel like a boyfriend who may or may not have broken up with you in a hotel room in Brussels. Jane Jameson's sexy sire Gabriel has always been unpredictable, but the seductive, anonymous notes that await him at each stop of their international vacation, coupled with his evasive behavior over the past few months, finally push Jane onto the next flight home to Half Moon Hollow -- alone, upset, and unsure whether Gabriel just ended their relationship without actually telling her.
Now the children's-librarian-turned-vampire is reviving with plenty of Faux Type O, some TLC from her colorful friends and family, and her plans for a Brave New Jane. Step One: Get her newly renovated occult bookstore off the ground. Step Two: Support her best friend, Zeb, and his werewolf bride as they prepare for the impending birth of their baby...or litter. Step Three: Figure out who's been sending her threatening letters, and how her hostile pen pal is tied to Gabriel. Because for this nice girl, surviving a broken heart is suddenly becoming a matter of life and undeath.

I love these books, I think their are a blast to read. I love the character Jane, she's a fun & clever girl, with a never ending talent for snark and sarcasim. This is a light take on the paranormal. Very similiar to the Sookie Stackhouse books, but with a PG rating. I laughed out loud many times. each of these books were better then the last. I think the narrator captured Janes personality perfectly. I love Jane and her friends, their fun and unforgetable. Book 4 will be out in 2012, I can't wait.
I am from Iran and listening to audio books is a new thing for me. This book was the first book I ordered and I've listened to it many times now. I love the way it has been narrated and I love the story. Thanx alot Audible;))
THESE BOOKS WERE CLASSY AND WELL WRITTEN....I WAS VERY SAD TO READ THE LAST ONE..MOLLY HARPER IS A GREAT WRITER AND I CANT WAIT TO START HER NEW SERIES!
Jane has love or does she? In her typical Jane manner, she stumbles over the nonverbal communication with Gabriel. Assumes instead of asking questions or listens to answers and of course declares her independence, as she constantly needs rescuing. But we love it because she does it in her Jane style.
This whole series is excellent. Light, funny and well narrated. Great main character with believable quirks. Definately worth buying.
I love books, it's my great escape.
This is my 2nd book from Molly Harper...I am so glad I discovered this author, she good. I will purchase more of her books.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. It was witty, charming & entertaining & I loved the character's. I hope Molly Harper write's more books soon!
But not really worth using up a credit, either. The main character is just this side of an idiot while she strives to come off as sarcastic and witty. She fails. No one is really memorable, likable or interesting in this. This is NOT Sookie Stackhouse!
