Publisher's summary

Nothing sucks the romance out of world travel like a boyfriend who may or may not have broken up with you in a hotel room in Brussels. Jane Jameson's sexy sire Gabriel has always been unpredictable, but the seductive, anonymous notes that await him at each stop of their international vacation, coupled with his evasive behavior over the past few months, finally push Jane onto the next flight home to Half Moon Hollow -- alone, upset, and unsure whether Gabriel just ended their relationship without actually telling her.

Now the children's-librarian-turned-vampire is reviving with plenty of Faux Type O, some TLC from her colorful friends and family, and her plans for a Brave New Jane. Step One: Get her newly renovated occult bookstore off the ground. Step Two: Support her best friend, Zeb, and his werewolf bride as they prepare for the impending birth of their baby...or litter. Step Three: Figure out who's been sending her threatening letters, and how her hostile pen pal is tied to Gabriel. Because for this nice girl, surviving a broken heart is suddenly becoming a matter of life and undeath.

The Weakest Link Is Still Phenomenal

The weakest link in this series; however, it still gives the reader gut punches throughout.

Absolutely love it

Where does Nice Girls Don't Live Forever rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I am new to these series, so far I am very happy with the audio book. The narrator brings out the best of the characters and helps the listener submerge himself / herself into the story. I found myself laughing out loud at some points of the story. I rarely review books, but this book was really enjoyable. I hope to be able to hear more.

This was the best story in the series of books!

I laughed and laughed and laughed listening to this book. It was so incredibly sharp and funny. I never had a clue how things were going to end which is usually a problem I always seem to figure things, out but not this time. The narration of the story is exceptional. I loved all the twists and the turns I can actually see the characters in my head during the whole narration of the story. I feel that this is the best book in the series by far. But of course I'm going to listen to the rest of them.

I am still loving this series. Molly Harper is my new favorite author her writing and story telling just blows me away. The story line is fresh and the snarky comments have me laughing. One of the best vampire series I have read in awhile. Happy listening.

LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!

Would you listen to Nice Girls Don't Live Forever again? Why?

I love these books!!! They are funny & light hearted with just enough heat. I liked the Sookie books by Charlaine Harris but these books are just plain FUN.

Which character – as performed by Amanda Ronconi – was your favorite?

Amanda Ronconi does a WONDERFUL job with bringing all the characters to life. They could not have a better person reading in my opinion.

Any additional comments?

If you like to laugh & like the vampire stuff, you will enjoy all the Jane Jameson adventures!

Jane's Stalker

Jane's dream vacation with Gabriel is ruined when someone sends letters to each hotel they arrive at, which leaves Gabriel stressed and increasingly secretive. Eventually Jane abandons the failing vacation to return home when her newly inherited book shop is vandalized. Jane is an emotional wreck because she believed Gabriel dumped her when she left Europe and she hasn't heard from him in weeks.

Things take a turn for a the worse when Jane starts to receive mystery letters of her own. While she tries to stay focused on her new bookstore, she is very distracted by this mystery stalker and her failed relationship with Gabriel.

You can expect the usual humor and snark from Jane and her friends as well as a stellar performance by Amanda Ronconi. It's been said before but Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi make a perfect team.

I have probably listened to this book at least 5 times but I am just getting around to writing a review as I listen to the entire series again, (Jane Jameson and Half-Moon Hallow) as I await the release of 2 new stories this summer. I always like to start from the beginning before picking up the newest book to remind myself why I enjoy this series much.

This story, and the others in the series, are absolutely worth a credit.

Love Jane!!!

Just read it! Great story! Great narration.
I didn't forsee the ending which makes it even better.

I have come to understand that if you like one book from Molly Harper. You will prob like them all. I have yet to be disappointed in any of her book. I will continue to read them regardless of rating.
I look forward to hearing what happens to all Jane and her crazy friends and what shes unwillingly got wrapped up in.

You will like this one even more if you are really into the relationship between Jane and her sister. There is a great scene between the two.....
