Laugh out loud funny! Can't wait for book 5

As always, Molly Harper rules in dialogue! Her characters are so dimensional and easy to relate to. This book was laugh out loud funny and I am looking forward to the next in the series. New vamp Jamie was a wonderful addition to the crew, and gave us the opportunity to see Jane in a whole new light. That kept book 4 fresh and fun. The "someone is trying to kill me/us" theme was a little tired, but still worth it!

As in the last 3 books, Amanda Ronconi does an amazing job bringing voice to all the characters.

It's hard to rank it that way. I enjoy so many kinds of books.

What did you like best about this story?

The humor as well as the story line of the book. I have loved this series of her books as well as the werewolf two books. I hope she writes more of these.

Very Entertaining

Another fun and entertaining book by Molly Harper. I don't know what's better, Harper's writing or Ranconi's narration. I do know that together they are a winning combination. I can't wait for the next one.

Yay another 'Nice Girls Dont' book

I was thrilled when I discovered that there was another Jane Jameson book. If you have heard the other books in the series and liked them ( how couldnt you like them!) then Im sure you will enjoy this one too. Jane is her usual sarcastic, witty self and trouble has found her yet again. And once again Amanda Ronconi does a brilliant job bringing the story and characters to life.
I just hope there is more to come.

Like the whole series, a decent plot, going thru wedding crazy right now so could really relate and like the characters.

Molly Harper . . . what can I say? I love your humor and the plots you write. I hope to read many more books from you in the future. Plus, I loved the little details about KY you put in there (hello from a former WKU student), which made this book all the more enjoyable. Please, please never stop writing, and I promise to never scream in your face again (again, sorry about that little RT mishap in Chicago).

To fellow listeners: I suggest you move this series up in your to-read pile. Trust me.

Funny, enjoyable and easy to listen to.

The Janet Evanavitch books. Same sense of humor. Same since of independence in the women. I really enjoy this series and plan to read them all as they become available.

If you could sum up Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors in three words, what would they be?

Unlike the others in this series, seemed written in a hurry - too much going on with neglect to character development.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

There's so many ways the author could have gone with this - like developing the newer characters more and giving poor Gabriel more to do than just be his fiance's guardian. Obviously he is so sophisticated and intelligent and has so much experience from living so long, I hated to see him relegated to Jane's guardian, and worse, his only important role became "serving" Jane's needs. Jane is definitely the boss which emasculates the tougher, more experienced Gabriel. I guess the word is "pussy-whipped." I'm a strong woman but I cringed at his role in this book.

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

She's flawless and wonderful and very funny. She "gets" the author's intent and puts it across beautifully despite the hectic pace of the story.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

You can be tough but stay nice

Any additional comments?

I like the main character's loyalty to friends and family. I also really like that she can laugh at herself in even the direst of circumstances. She's a champion throughout because she can pick herself up and maintain her viewpoint despite hatred, jealousy and murderous enemies. She can also forgive.
