WITH THIS RING, I THEE DEAD.
Just as Jane Jameson’s unlife seems to be stabilizing, fate sinks its fangs firmly into her butt. Despite her near-phobia of wedding planning, her no-frills nighttime nuptials to her sexy boyfriend, Gabriel, are coming along smoothly. That is, until she turns a fatally wounded teenage acquaintance, and the Council pronounces her responsible for the newborn vamp until he can control his thirst.
Jane’s kitchen barely holds enough Faux Type O to satiate the cute teen’s appetite and maintain Gabriel’s jealous streak at a slow simmer. As if keeping her hyperactive childe from sucking the blood out of the entire neighborhood isn’t enough to deal with, the persnickety ghost of Jane’s newly deceased grandma Ruthie has declared war on the fanged residents of River Oaks. Suddenly, choosing monogrammed cocktail napkins and a cake she can’t even eat seem downright relaxing in comparison.
Tensions inside the house are growing… and outside, a sinister force is aiming a stake straight for the center of Gabriel’s heart. Most brides just have to worry about choosing the right dress, but Jane fears that, at this rate, she’ll never make it down the aisle for the wedding all nice girls dream of.

Laugh says it all. If you want light reading that is funny, this is spot on. The nice thing about Molly's books is that you can pick one up without having read the previous books and not miss a beat. Amanda, as always is great at the reader. She has that sarcasm in her voice that fits the character to a tee.
Buy it. You'll love it.
The wedding drama. Loved Jane hiring a wedding planner with her mother in the mix. Great stuff!
Yes. Everyone needs a laugh or something relaxing and entertaining to listen to every now and then.
The way she does Grandma Ruthie's voice is to funny.
In the beginning yes. Laugh
The plots in this series always start out great but towards the end it becomes weak. The main characters are so well written that you get really into them - but the last two chapters unravels and I think
I always enjoy downloading Molly Harper's books. Molly Harper's story and Amanda Ronconi's narration makes the perfect combination. I laughed through most of the book. I love the main character, Jane. Her sarcasm is funny not caustic and her character is loveable.
If you want to laugh, download this book and enjoy.
The audio really brings the characters alive for you!
Jane has to be my favorite because I can so relat!
When Jane and Gabriel confronted mackelray! Was so funny!
When Jane found her wedding dress and when aunt jetty moved on to other side.
I recommend this to anyone and have!
Let me start by saying I really enjoyed the first two books in this series. I like Molly Harper's wisecracking heroines. They take risks and don't take themselves too seriously. And Amanda Ronconi's narration is great; she has just the right tone, especially for the women. However, the basic premise of the plots of these last two books just don't hang together as well as the previous two novels. Gabriel seems tohave had some major character transformation, and he's just not as exciting as before. It seems like Molly may be a little tired of the characters too. Her most recent vampire story related to Half Moon Hollow(Driving Mr. Dead) seems fresher and more alive than this novel. And that makes me a little sad, because I like Jane and her friends, and don't want them to go away, just become a little less predictable.
The whole series has been fun to listen to. The author tells a delightful, fun, and snarky tale. I probably look crazy laughing in the car by myself while listening to the story. The narrator makes this story come to life.
I could have downloaded this book to my kindle to read, but l enjoyed listening to the previous books so much I had to get the audible version instead. When you have such a talented narrator telling the story, you don't want to miss out on her interpretation.
Entertaining. I actually laughed out loud.
Absolutely. I will download another book as soon as it is available.
The story line following Jane through her adventures and the way Amanda Ronconi brings Jane to life!
The characters keep getting more and more hilarious, even as they are growing up. Molly Harper manages to keep the storylines fresh and interesting.
This is Sookie Stackhouse with a sense of humor.
All of them. She gives everyone a personality so that you feel you are in the room with a group of your friends, not just reading a book.
