Get ready to ride....

Tyra Masters has had enough drama to last a lifetime. Now, she's back on track and looking forward to her new, quiet life. Until she meets the man of her dreams. The tattooed, muscled biker plies her with tequila—and the best sex of her life. She knows it isn't the tequila and hot sex talking. He's the kind of man she's always wanted. Unfortunately, he's also her new boss....

Kane "Tack" Allen has a rule. He doesn't employ someone he's slept with. So when he learns he spent last night in bed with his new office manager, he quickly fires Tyra. Yet when Tyra stands up to him and fights for her job, Tack is intrigued. He tells her she can keep her job on one condition: no more sex. Ever. But as things heat up between them, Tack finds that he'll be the one breaking all the rules...

Narrator’s performance needs improvement

I love the book, have the digital print version too. That being said, the narrator’s performance needs improvement. When I see a “whispered” at the end of a sentence and hear a shouted/shrieked line instead, it’s super jarring. Otherwise, narrator did a great job 😆

Good story, bad narrator

Would you listen to Motorcycle Man again? Why?

I'm a fan of Kristin Ashley's books and looked forward to listening to this one. I could not get through it due to the narrator. Her voice was annoying and she over emphasized everything she read. It really spoiled the story for me. Hoping any future books of Kristin's will find a different narrator.

Fun, fast paced listen.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes - funny and fun and oddly insightful - Male role's perspective on life seemed age appropriate and healthy.

What did you like best about this story?

Different take having a hero literally talk the girl into something she wants (relationship), instead of resisting it till the end. Endeared him to me.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Liked the pace and the sas, BUT..... people in Colorado don't talk like they're from the Jersey shore... That's a little off putting, especially since I'm a westerner. It's why I rated the performance a 3 and not a 4.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I'm generally am not a fan of romances with kids, cause they always come off as forced additions to the story line, but this author wrote "teen" well - they helped kindle the story.

Great story! :D

5+ stars

OMG! I love this book! I've never read anything by this author before but liked the book description and decided to try it and I'm so glad I did!!! Tack and Tyra are so great together, although I will admit there are difficulties along the way, but once they start meshing I fell in love with them as a couple.

Tyra doesn't come from a motorcycle background. She got a job as the office manager for the garage Tack runs and the MC (motorcycle club) owns. She goes to a party the weekend before she starts work (having been hired by the soon to be leaving office manger) and meets Tack. They hook up but Tack kinda messes up and doesn't look very deep at Tyra and ends up kicking her out of his bed. This really sucks for her because she pretty much saw him as the guy she'd been waiting for all her life and had a bad case of love at first sight. When Tack kicks her out without even letting her spend the night she's extremely unhappy. She's not the sort to sleep with someone the first night she meet them and then to have her dream man become a nightmare started things very badly.

Once she comes in to work the first morning he makes life difficult on her because he doesn't work with women he's messed around with. Tyra needs the job and fights him on it and manages to stay. The first while they're together is a lot of mixed signals and some hurt feelings. His way of doing things doesn't match up with her expectations. Things are helped along when Tack finally realizes that although Tyra is feisty and puts up a brave front she has a soft spot (an emotional one) that Tack keeps hurting without realizing. After this Tack pretty much drops the jerky behavior (well there are relapses but no one is perfect) and starts being very sweet.

There are still some rough patches and I will admit that Tyra tries to stalk off and leave Tack a few times (esp when Tack has a relapse) throughout the story but I couldn't stop loving it. The whole redemption theme was enough to bring tears to my ears. I felt for Tack and what he went through with his sister and how that pushed him on his path to redemption. There was so much more that made this story great. The interactions between characters, Tack and Tyra as well as others, just made the book. Some of the arguments were just priceless.

I loved this book. I've added it to my faves list and I'll be rereading it in the future (and will probably go back and read the first 3 books in the series). I'd highly recommend this book. 2 thumbs up! :D

My favorite in the Dream Man series.

Would you listen to Motorcycle Man again? Why?

Yes, love the storyline. Wish less use of God's names.

What did you like best about this story?

Tack's alpha male persona.

Have you listened to any of Kate Russell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Kate Russell does an excellent job.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Favorite part: Tack explaining to Tyra the reason he holds her throat. Tender moment.

Tack and Tyra

I read this book first and absolutely loved it. Although I liked the narration, I didn't particularly enjoy the way the narrator voiced Tack. Other than that, a great listen.

Love & Dreams!

Loved the story and mostly loved the characters. The parts of the characters that I didn't love? I'm pretty sure that was the writer's intention, and led to the path of redemption.

The narrator was mostly really good, but I didn't love her voice for Tack.... too often came off more as grumpy gangster than growly biker.

I loved every freaking second of it.

Any additional comments?

One of my favorites book in this series!!
Been waiting a while for Tack's story since he first growled onto the page in Mystery Man and it's definitely been worth the wait.
He's everything an Ashley Alpha should be - he's arrogant, rude, domineering, bossy and impossibly HOT!
